Went to this place for the first time a few days ago. On the Google Maps it says Lefty's Diner & Grocery, however there were no groceries. Appears perhaps it was closed at the height of the pandemic and perhaps reopened just as a Diner.It said Lefty's Diner on the store front. However to clarify it's a Mexican Diner.There are is no dedicated parking ?️ that was visible, just what is around the downtown area with parking meters.The ambiance reminds me of low budget restaurants...read full review
Really good homey cooking is found at this modest local restaurant. It was just what I was looking for in the area. The rice alone has a unique delicious flavor, making it suitable enough to eat alone. Never had that flavor before despite eating tons of Mexican rice in a hundred locations. The red salsa is very hot and the green is delicious with less heat. Bean burrito is quite large at a great price. Service was very nice. Tostadas not fancy but filling and tasty. They should improve the coffee, the seasoning is good but it's not the best Mexican food I've tried, it doesn't look very clean or tidy and the price seemed high to me.
