Ordered take-out tonight. I haven’t had Prima in a long time. When I got there the employee asked if I wanted to pay cash or card. I said cash and she said that only the owner can take cash (which is weird) but she was on the phone so I didn’t want to wait. I gave the employee my card instead and the owner rushed over and micromanaged the employee and asked me what the name on my order was and what I ordered like 3 times before she finally figured it out. It felt really unprofessional. The whole interaction made me uncomfortable and I felt she was rude to her employee. Food was mid, as usual. I feel bad for their employees.
Our server could not answer very basic questions regarding menu items. We waited a full hour for our entrees. The lasagna dish consisted of pasta, cheese, and sauce - NO MEAT. When I asked the waiter, he did nothing. The picatta sauce was bland, perhaps no lemon added. The bread was wonderful, but we didn’t go for bread. I’ve been here before and was very, very disappointed.

Arrived at 3:30. Got seated right away. Server took drink orders of tea. Didn't ask sweet or unsweet. Brought sweet. Hubby ordered Cesar Salad & Pasta Sampler. I ordered Senior Size Chicken Alfredo & Garden Salad with Ranch. Waiter brought salads. I got vinegret dressing and he ask hubby if he wanted Salad Dressing for his Cesar Salad. 🤔
He brought the correct Salad Dressings. No bread, had to ask for it. Meals Arrived. Mine was correct and delicious. Hubby's was wrong dish. Never got tea refilled. Ordered Pasta Sampler, Salad & bread to go. Very little in the container. Had to ask for bread. Price? Ridiculous- $70
Won't go back.

So when you order your food off the menu and it says $10.99 and then you go to pay it’s actually $12.41 so when you go up there to pay, they changed the price so I ask how come I’m not getting charged with what I looked at the menu for oh our prices changed. Well you need to change your menu. I will never come back here again and the bread was very hard to eat.
I got the Shrimp Alfedo and for some reason I received my plate with angel hair noodles instead of the regular noodles but I can’t complain because it was seriously the best meal I’ve eaten this year HANDS DOWN❤️❤️ so delicious and authentic.
Slap yo mama good food
The staff is always nice!
We asked for sauce and got zero sauce.

Food and waitress was amazing. As far as for cleanliness needs a lot of attention. Moldy caulk around the bathroom sink. Wainscot trim pulling off the wall. AC grills on the ceiling had dust and lint all over. Some water stained ceiling tiles.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Prima Pasta in Texas, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, with soft lighting and tasteful decor that set the perfect mood for an intimate dinner.
We started our meal with the classic Bruschetta, which was fresh and flavorful. For the main course, I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and it was absolutely divine. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the Alfredo sauce was creamy and rich without being overpowering. My dining companion opted for the Spaghetti Carbonara and was equally impressed by the authentic taste and generous portion.
The service was top-notch. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and that our needs were met promptly.
To top it off, we indulged in their Tiramisu for dessert, which was a heavenly end to our meal – light, creamy, and with just the right amount of coffee flavor.
Overall, Prima Pasta offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious food, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in Texas. 5 out of 5 stars!

I have been a long time customer of Prime Pasta since the late 90's. I have rarely been disappointed and always look forward to eating their delicious food.
First you are presented with a basket of their fresh baked bread and butter. I suggest ordering the garlic and oil to dip your bread into.
The ribeye steaks are the best in town and are very reasonably priced and always cooked to perfection.
My favorites dishes are the ribeye, lasagna, Chicken Alfredo ask for crispy chicken you won't be disappointed. The Philly steak sandwich is amazing, so is the tortellini everything is delicious here.
The staff is usually very friendly and attentive, the owners are very hands on.
I highly recommend Prima Pasta. My personal favorite place to eat in Brownwood.
