First stopped here on our way home a couple of years ago. We were very skeptical at first, but now we stop here every time! It’s become our favorite spot. The food is delicious and the service is great. Highly recommend it.

Edited: yes I’ll respond, your server ignored me and my to go order so a table of 6 who already ate could cut me in line and check out. They all were paying individually, when I said I was in line first and my order was ready she said she had to check them out first. If I stayed it would have taken another five minutes for them to all check out. I guess if you’re friends with the servers you get to cut in line and the management will defend it.

What a find! The delicious food is real - not fake, previously frozen, indigestion creating stuff one usually finds on the road. The service was excellent- 90 minutes from Ft Worth and we’ll drive it again and again, just to explore the entire menu.

Great little café. I have quite a few options. We came in for breakfast. Sorry I didn’t get a picture of the food. It was almost gobbled up before I even thought of it. We’re so hungry lol. This place is attached to a place called the top line. It’s a separate review but man what a great place to stop. Food here is really good. Very status quo for this type of diner. The pancakes tho! They were top of the list delicious! Service was great! Only reason I give it a 4 on atmosphere is …very dismal decor and kinda cold feeling. We will keep coming back because it is consistently good!! Hard to find these days!

I’m not usually one to eat at a restaurant attached to a gas station but don’t let the location deter you, this place is great!! I could tell the food was home cooked. We ordered the fried chicken with okra and the lasagna, both were wonderful with large portions. The service was top notch, our waitress was very friendly and attentive, anticipating what we would need. My only regret was not having room to try their homemade desserts.

We stopped by this eatery on a Saturday afternoon. The waitress, was friendly, and attentive. I ordered the salad with roasted chicken breast, and my husband, ordered the double bacon cheeseburger with fries. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. The prices were fair. We enjoyed our experience, and will most likely visit this restaurant in the future.

Stopped for fuel at the Chevron station and saw the sign for Red Star Cafe. Service was excellent, the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans on the side hit the spot. The peach cobbler rounded the meal out well. Highly recommend this cafe if you are in the area. Kudos to the chef too.,
