When we realized this was in a gas station we almost didn’t go in, but glad I trusted the reviews. Very clean. Good simple home cooking. Huge chicken fry’s and yummy looking omelets. I had the crispy chicken sandwich on the jalapeño roll, so good! Chicken was seasoned and breaded to perfection and SO juicy! Definite hidden gem. All their cakes looked scrumptious too. Waitress was Sarah and she was great. They were very busy for a late lunch crowd but they kept everyone satisfied!
Passing through the area, staying at a local RV park for a few days. Road weary & hungry, we took a chance on the great reviews of a small cafe in a gas station complex.
Surprise, surprise surprise, the food and service was unbelievably good and the "downtown cafe" atmosphere really set it apart from the " routine"!

We are local here to Red Star and love the service and food. The breakfast is our favorite. The eggs are always on point.
