Really nice place for a fast food restaurant. Authentic Mexican food. Great variety. Daily specials. Friendly service. The atmosphere is fantastic. Handpainted scenery and decorations, distressed wood furniture... super clean but gives the vibe of old Mexico. We were really impressed and the food was delicious.
Good mexican food but getting pricey. I guess it's called inflation 2026. $4.32 for one carne guisado taco with guacamole. If you like the daily special, same good food at a better price.
This is a MUST TRY if you are in the Rio Grande Valley! My kids love the chicken & cheese patos, my boys love the carne guisada & cheese patos, & I love them both... but with 🥑 avocado! ¡Delicioso! Add some hot sauce & a LARGE drink (because they've got that good ice)!! My family no longer lives in the RGV, but El Pato is a required stop every time we visit!!
