We stopped here some time back travelling to Houston and staying in El Campo for the night. Immediately upon entering and choosing a table (which was NOT reserved), we were told we had to pick a different table. It seems one of their entitled regular customers must have bought the table. The food was ok and tables were unique though it was a bit pricey for the lousy service provided. To put a positive spin on this review, we will definitely explore other dining alternatives if we are back in town someday.

I went to have breakfast this morning at this place… it's the second time I've had the same waitress with an angry and arrogant attitude. She left my drink, it was about 10 minutes later that I asked her for a straw. She always has the same attitude. I think she should be setting an example for the younger waitresses, but she's doing it the wrong way.

I had a wonderful experience at Laura’s Cafe. The food was absolutely amazing. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. What really stood out though was the outstanding customer service. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great Mexican food and a welcoming atmosphere!

Don’t go here if you are Caucasian and would like to get service. Me and my wife got sat, ordered our food and then never seen the waitress again. She would check on people around us but she would not stop and check on us it was ridiculous. Only reason for the stars is the food is actually really good!
Good Mexican restaurant. The food is delicious, and my favorite is the tortilla soup. It's a solid spot if you're looking for a good meal.

I place an order and was wrong, the waiters in the morning have the worst attitude, their manager or person in charge isn't available at anytime, so their people just hung up and will jo answer at all. I used to highly recommend because their food its good, but please don't go in the mornings, go to fernandez next to them, great food and customer service and they do have personal to respond for their mistakes
