The food is not bad, but not great either. I can make better desserts and I'm no baker. It's definitely a place for people who enjoy hunting- the decor screams it. It's exactly what you might expect in a small Texas town. The employees were polite as well as the customers. I enjoyed my visit overall.

Hate to leave a bad review, but hardly worth the $9 per sandwich.. its like they gave me last week's brisket it was so dry.. very disappointed. Price for this disaster of a sandwich was 5 dollars before and almost double in a few years! Its laughable. Save your money and eat a sandwich at home.

Thank you, Gerry, for answering my email about food allergies and helping me determine what I could safely have at your restaurant. My meal (chicken, pork and beef) was delicious - even without the sauce. The staff was very friendly and helpful, too.

Be warned a family order of 4 is at best 1 lb of meat.
Hard pressed on this feeding 4
I believe the sides that come with it contain more food.

Wanted to eat chicken didn’t have it . The place needed a little cleaning. The green beans and corn were horrible. The brisket was little dry. Very disappointing.

We drove 76 miles for the best barbecue that we could find, and we found it at Mikeska Bar-B-Q. Highly Recommend !
FYI, the hours have changed. The dining room is open from 10 am to 1:30 pm.
Black ppl do not belong here. It's missing everything.. the workers are kind. The seasonings are non existent.

We went there around 5:00 pm on Saturday Sept. 21 and there were maybe 3 or 4 people there. There were 3 of us we ordered deluxe plates. The ribs were very dry and the beef was slightly tough. The various sides we had were very bland no flavor what so ever. The overall experience just wasn’t up to par. Very disappointed. Antoinette Bonugli
