The food and service is always AMAZING when I stop by!!!! I usually order based on whatever the owners recommend or show on Facebook. The gorditas and birria tacos were delicious!!! Everything is cooked fresh. And don’t forget to stop by their ice cream/dessert bar!!! My daughter is a picky eater, and whenever I tell her I’m going to El Campo, she jumps in the car with me and anticipates stopping by Preferida De Monterrey. Check out this dessert!!! 😋

So glad I stopped in. It looks like a place that serves good food, just from the outside, and that is fully borne out! Lovely fresh food and red and green salsas that are (a) DELICIOUS and (b) "take no prisoners" . . . they are HOT! (I am sure they have mild salsa for Milquetoasts, but I suggest their house salsas!) Highly recommended.

Twice I have come to eat here and both times I have ordered gordita de fajita....but it looks like gordita with beans...you can count the little pieces of meat
