The Feed Store Restaurant

Delicious food, kind waitresses & a very neat atmosphere. Also there is a park nextdoor for the kiddos. The hours are unfortunately lacking & where are a little short handed.

Chicken fried steak with the mashed potatoes and cauliflower, with a sweet tea for lunch was worth the drive which was about 5 mins from where I was working

Rated the Feed Store a two out of five because I am being nice. The photos on the website are not representative of the food that will show up to your table. You can get a tastier chicken breast at a fast food hamburger joint. But then again, if you like yours dry and flavorless and small and factory made they have you covered. The veggies had a leftover feel to them. Service was spotty at best and they were tipped accordingly. I gave the Feed Store two other visits hoping they could improve but they continue to slide. Small menu to choose from doesn’t help. Won’t be back unless I hear that they have fixed things.

Ok I’m gonna cut straight to the point. The blonde waitress is beyond beautiful. Not to mention very polite.Oh the food was great but …I wish I was cross eyed so I could see the blondie twice?

This place is probably one of the top restaurants in town if you're looking for American cuisine! It is a pleasant atmosphere with some really good food!

This is our 2nd visit to The Food Store. The 1st table we were seated at had ants crawling all over the table. So we moved. We also found ants at the 2nd table but had already ordered our food. We ordered The Feedstore Salad. The salad was $13.50 and was supposed to have croutons and avocado, strawberries, oranges, etc. There were no croutons on the salad so the server brought us 5 croutons to share on our salads. I had 1 piece of strawberry on my salad. There was also no avocado. When we could get our servers attention, to let her know, she said, "Oh well we don't carry avocado." The farm fresh concept is a great idea for El Campo, but I don't think we will visit again.

I give this rating a low rating not because of the food because I asked on my salad no jalapenos that I've acid reflux they did not bother to tell me that the chicken was soaking Tabasco sauce seasoning so I was not able to eat my South Texas salad but I will be going back to try their food again because there's been a lot of good reviews on it it would just be nice if they were open past 2:00 p.m.

??My daughter invited me for lunch the other day and the first thing that caught my eye was the herb garden. You can seat outside and enjoy it. But we decided to seat inside and as we walked in we felt welcomed. We were offered the special of the day. The fried chicken with 2 sides. I must say that chicken was perfectly cooked. The sides were so yummy! Everything was delicious! I will return for sure with my husband. I will be bringing friends too. I am glad we have a place like this in town. It's a great place to meet. ??

I questioned "The Feed store" ? Lol thinking what are they getting me into? And.. wow! The food is INCREDIBLE!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

MY VERY FAVORITE FOOD AND SERVICE. While remotely working in El Campo, I visit here for lunch at least twice a week (and I will never get sick of the South Texas Salad!). The food is excellent and all of the staff is passionate, helpful, and happy. Love the herb gardens and sitting outside!!Shoutout to Veronica for being the light of my every visit and celebrating wonderful food, wine, and desserts (as well as her love for the the gardens and local kitties). She's lovely and the service she provides is 10/10.

GREAT service and the food is SO good. It’s nice to have a place with healthy lunch options. The Feed Store Salad is hands-down my favorite. Great place! I do wish they would open for dinner..: lol.
