I loved everything this was my first time at AMAR and it was wonderful!! I enjoyed the dinner with my friends with great food and some mezcales with my brothers.

I celebrated my birthday with five friends that had never been to Amar last Saturday. I already knew that the food, ambiance, and service were wonderful. It was a fulfilling experience that everyone thoroughly enjoyed their first visit! The management gifted me a ittle box with a darling pair of earrings, something I've never seen or received from any restaurant. I along with my friends were pleasantly impressed with our visit! Great job, Amar!!!

I came in for the first time yesterday evening and everything from the appetizer all the way to desert was superb. It was very busy and maybe would recommend getting a reservation if your party was on the bigger side, but while very expensive, the quality does not leave you unsatisfied with paying higher prices.
I wish I had taken pictures of our experience. We arrived without reservations and were promptly seated. The cocktails were amazing and the food was exceptional.

Amar is a great place to get Peruvian food with a bit of Mexican food in it. It's small and cozy and has great service.
You will get the Peruvian classics like Ceviche with awesome leche de Tigre, Pisco Sour and Manjar limeño.
Food and drinks are great, but please do save space for dessert. The corn bread is amazing and the avocado ice cream looks fantastic!
This place was delicious! The food was amazing, the service was great, and the atmosphere was so calming and cozy. The appetizer that we got was the Jalea De Mariscos. It comes with 3 sauces. One was vinegar based that paired well with the white fish, a slightly spice green that was great on everything, and a savory one that also paired well with everything. The entrees were Tallarines Verde and Salmon Al Carbon. The salmon paired well with everything on it, was cooked to perfection! The portion was huge! I asked for my steak rare however it was a bit under done. I personally don't mind that and still found ir delicious. At first the portioning seemed small, but it was super filling. The pesto was also a bit pasty, but nothing a tad more olive oil can't fix. Over all this place was great and will be returning!

It’s pretty. We came an hour before closing they had us seated and had us wait 10 mins before someone came to just take our order to then tell us they can’t cook for us because the kitchen decided to clean an hour before closing wasted our time completely and there really isn’t that many options on the menu either. Never coming to again. 👎🏽
