when you sit at the bar and the hostess is behind the bar and pretends he doesn't see you there is a problem. ok so I draw his attention that I am sitting directly in front of him to get water and a menu. 5 minutes later I'm still waiting for someone to take my order. Hire people that know what to do and how to respond to customers. 8pm to 8.18pm Monday

The food was amazing as usual!! Our bus boy was a better server than our actual server, which is why I rated the service only 3 stars.the server had the personality and friendliness of a wet mop. One of our pizzas was brought to our table cold. But the bus boy was fabulous, very attentive, you could tell he was a hard worker. My husband tipped him for his efforts but not the server. Her efforts were minimal at best.

We were VERY surprised at the service we received, and the managers complete disregard of the situation. On Saturday, June 8th the following happened! Our granddaughter is severely allergic to cheese and her sandwich came out with cheese, and the red colored hair server never came out with it. Our salads didn’t come with apples and we had to ask for them, again! We were taking a pizza home that we paid for and it was never delivered to our table, and neither was the sandwich without cheese. We asked for to go boxes that never came until we asked again. We asked for a bag for our food, it to never came! When we approached the front register to pay, my daughter tried to explain that we still had t received our pizza or sandwich, which was rudely met with “ yeah I know she told me, I’ll comp you a pizza”, with a look of complete disregard on her face! Upon hearing our complaint about our lack of service, even though we left a 20% tip, she replied “people come in here hungry and mad”. It wasn’t about us being hungry this was about lack of service, lack of training, lack of professionalism! My daughter paid over $100 for our meals, and returning back to El Paso after having been gone for 5 years she was looking forward to Ardovino’s. Sadly her experience lacked the wonderful service that this restaurant once had! As we approached the front The manager was dismissive and insulting with her “we’ll comp you a free pizza”. This want about how much we were offered to go away, this is about integrity! This Ardovino’s is managed by a young person who could not care less about customers, her server was nice, but got it all wrong! This young manager and her server need to be retained!

I’ve been a patron of this restaurant for many years I did a take out- salad and 5 cheese pizza (small) That was the worst pizza ever….undercooked and lacking ingredients. Besides that, on line price was less than take away cost. Will not go back.

It was not busy at all which was surprising to us, we ordered two lunch specials and lasagna. Everything came out but the lasagna… no communication of why; we asked several times about the lasagna. Finally I called the manager who explained their bottom oven just such off… and on and on the reasoning… BUY NEVER ONCE did anyone come over to ask if we would like a substitution or what the hold up was!! So disappointing
My sandwich had too much, so much that the bread was soggy and I couldn't hold the sandwich. :( their pizza I enjoy.

Cozy Italian restaurant with a romantic vibe. Their pizzas were delicious with a biscuity crust. Ordered the tiramisu which was slightly sweeter than what we like but overall, a great meal.
P.S. The only down side was stinky and unkempt restroom.
