Great fried sushi rolls, huge portions and flavorful! Katsu dish was tasty as well. Store (market) is small but has essentials. They do sell fresh kimchi side dishes in containers.

Absolutely loved this place! My husband didn’t want to go at first just from looking at the front and I told him to get over it and THANK GOODNESS I did because we both ended up loving our food sooo much and the lovely server that was working who was very sweet and wonderful!

Very surprised at some of these reviews, I’m not sure if they used to have different management/ownership but everytime my boyfriend and i have gone we have always been treated with the best service and all the food is so amazing! The food? FRESH AF. The flavor? BOMB. The service? Amazing! Give this place a 10/10 ! Asian market next door has so many neat things! ???

Place is nice and food is good but my daughter and I are vegetarian and this is the first asian place that will not replace meat with tofu. Very strange since japanese and chinese eat mostly tofu. Unfortunatelywill not be returning:(

I can't speak for before but I've been a regular for about a year now and I can honestly say this place has the best Asian food around. The fried rice is fresh and you can tell the veggies are too, it's not the same generic frozen peas and carrots fried rice, and the chicken is always perfect, never chewy. We always get a sushi roll with our order and I haven't had one I don't like yet. The place is half Asian grocery store, half restaurant and you get your drinks from the store. The reason it's 4 starts instead of 5 is because it is definitely over priced. The servings are about half what you get at other Chinese food restaurants and the grocery store has insane markup. I'm sure it used to make sense when Asian stores where a specialty shop but nowadays with Amazon most Asian grocery stores sell at a discount. It's not a deal breaker for me, but this place is on Dyer street, I'm sure not everyone will be pleased with the portion size or the store prices.

Who doesn't like a restaurant in a grocery store? The meal was excellent and freshly made to order. I had yakisoba chicken which reminded me of my time in Japan. My wife and son had sushi, freshly rolled. It had a very good balance of rice and what we call "the good stuff". Service was friendly and good. Military Discount only on limited days and times.We will be going back.
Not sure why, but store and restaurant both closed as of 12:47 today, Monday. A former go to. Will try again. Phone not answered. Any info appreciated.

Will not be returning. The customer service was quite good. The food was ok BUT the kimchi was bad when I dug into the container. It gave me a stomach ache. Not worth the $20+ for one plate, plus kimchi, plus drink.
