My last review of the restaurant on Mesa was sad. Today I decided to give them another chance. Lilia greeted me and took me to my favorite table. When I ordered my meal, she asked me if I wanted hash browns instead of rice, which is what I usually order for breakfast. I didn’t think they would make them for dinner. She assured me they would. They did. She checked on my water and made sure all was well a few times. She had restored my faith in this place!
Attended a small gathering of supporters for my cousin who is running for judge of county court #2. Food and atmosphere were great! Thank you for everything at Ay Caramba! Go out and vote!
I tried the tampiqueña and wasn't pleased at all. The meat was paper thin and very tough to chew. The rest of the plate was pretty good. The fish soup had no flavor. The salsa, on the other hand, was very good.
