Since I first tried Barrio, it’s been one of my absolute favorites. Everything I’ve tried has been top tier. They can’t miss. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the staff…all 100/10 recommend! My favorites are the chicken enchiladas suizas, pollo en crema, fideo and the ribeye but everything is just so so good! It’s a must try!!

As amazing as everything was what I'm going back for is the fideo and coffee. I'm convinced that someone's Abuelita is back there making the fideo and coffee. Lucky for me I was with friends and family that don't mind sharing cause I got to try almost everything on the table. Molé is one of those dishes that is a hit or miss. This one hit! Crispy 3 cheese chile rellenos tho? If you want a little of everything go with the Mexican plate. I was bold and ordered the Pescado al Mojo de Ajo. White fish cooked in garlic-infused olive oil. Very light and flavorful. Poblano cream with chicken pasta and the ribeye pair amazingly together. I saw a Philly cheesesteak pass my table that definitely caught my attention. Can't wait to go back.

Definitely will continue to be a frequent customer here. Never disappointed walking out of this place. Cheers to the cooks, the waitstaff, and the bartenders for all they do. My favorites are the chicken biscuits on the brunch menu, the Philly cheesesteak, and the enchiladas.

If you want grandmas Mexican home cooked meals, this is the spot. Every item I’ve tried here is delicious - including the old fashioned. Staff is quick, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Love the atmosphere of this place too! Will continue coming back for some good authentic Mexican dishes!

We were staying at the Doubletree for a 3 day event at the convention center, and this place was perfect for dinner. Only a 2 block walk, so we didn't need our car. Food and local beer was delicious, and there was enough variety on the menu that we didn't get bored. Service was really good and very friendly.

Service was great. Food was very Tex-mex. Felt like I was in San Antonio eating Mexican food, definitely not border authentic Mexican style. The enchiladas suizas had a good sauce taste, but the chicken inside tastes like a rotisserie chicken. The elote side is also very Americanized. The rice had little to no flavor…. And overall the Prices are pretty expensive for the quality of their food taste. The environment is nice.

The service and atmosphere were great, but the food was disappointing. I got a mimosa and the wine was old and sour. Ordered the chicken and biscuits and they were doughy. My mom’s breakfast crepe was more like a big thin pancake. It took almost an hour to get our food. No decaf coffee.
