Big Al's is a quintessential local El Paso Texas bar that has recently undergone a change in ownership. However, the new owner has done a fantastic job of maintaining the same welcoming and patriotic vibe that has made this bar a favorite among veterans and locals alike. One of the best things about Big Al's is its close proximity to Conchitas, where you can grab some delicious gorditas or burritos to enjoy alongside your drinks. It's the perfect spot to unwind with friends and family after a long day, while honoring our service members and veterans at the same time.As a former service member turned veteran myself, I can truly appreciate the sense of camaraderie and community that Big Al's fosters. It's a place where everyone feels like family, and where memories are made that will last a lifetime. If you're looking for a laid-back and friendly bar experience in El Paso, look no further than Big Al's. You won't be disappointed.

It was a bunch of old dudes...I'm assuming all veterans. My sister and I walked in and all eyes were in us. Kinda awkward... They don't take cards so we left.
