Blackbird is a cool lil dive bar. It's near the baseball stadium and they have a pretty solid alcohol selection. It's priced well and the service is usually solid

You know.. I'm not the type to take time out of my day to write a bad review but I am very disappointed with the service. I had ordered a paleta shot with the bald bartender and he said if I want it I have to pay for a top shelf tequila because the we're out of the well tequila (hornitos and espolon) ... however there was a full bottle of espolon right there.I'm a bartender and server at a fine dining restaurant, I know how to tip and I know when someone is being greedy and lazy... not mad just disappointed.

Lorely is such a sweetheart. She lights up the room with her blue hair :) The bar selection is impressive with whiskey as old as billy the kid. The patio is nice and staff is attentive, even in a crowd and catrina barbie interventions.
I'm visiting from out of town and opened a tab at this place. When I went to close it, the bartender said she handed my card to someone else. She was unapologetic and not concerned with the mistake they made. I had to advise the bartender to get my contact information, no initiative from her part. I messaged them through instagram the next day and they said they found my card. I drove 25 miles there and once I got there the manager, Rene, said to me that the person who messaged me on instagram read my name wrong. So I guess they don't know how to read there? I drove all the way from Clint for nothing. It's safe to say I won't be returning.

This place is a hidden gem , dog friendly and staff is quite knowledgeable in the drinks they make plus the patio was huge and despite the dogs very clean . Easily a place to have a calm drink and chat , or spend the night petting strangers dogs .
