My husband and I went last night and ordered the fillet and ribeye both cooked medium. There was only one waitress, and so our food took quite some time to get upon getting our food. The ribeye was very thin and overcooked. The fillet was also well done. We sent them back and we brought new steaks to which the fillet was now rare at best. We asked for them to just give us her check to which they wanted us to pay full price for the meal for steaks that we didn’t eat. We were not gonna take home and cook ourselves which they offered us to do upon asking for the steaks to be removed , they did so asking us to pay $28 for the side items of coleslaw corn on the cob rice and macaroni and cheese. The service was terrible. The food wasn’t great and the establishment could use an update I do want to give one positive they did have a kind gentleman playing the keyboard, which was nice .

Have to say my favorite steakhouse in El Paso at working man's prices. They Have a great selection of steaks and hamburgers, and you cannot beat the view from 2nd floor. Downstairs there is a bar.

Wednesday night is Karaoke Night at the Borderland Steakhouse. Great, friendly, good food and steaks. If you're in the mood to tryout your voice without fear, this is the place.

Arrived on time for reservations.Bathroom was not cleaned from Night before.Waitress wasn't friendly during order time or the entire visit.Never asked if we were missing anything, needed anything, refills on drinks, NOTHING!Food was cold!Had to wait on drinks because no lemonade was made. We arrived at the time it opened and we were the 1st customers. I had to use the restroom and it was utterly disgusting. For it to just open for business, the restroom should have been clean. I ordered the chicken fajitas and the food was luke warm. The waitress was more on her phone in the corner than giving customers attention. Not a very good experience.

I was generous stating this was average! I had a 20oz Porterhouse that was tough at medium rare. Subpar meat quality. I wish I could say something good about this place. The gentleman who seated me was nice and the wait person was attentive. Save your money, seriously go to Apple-bees or Chilies.
