Love this place. Affordable and quality, the only choice for subs in the northeast/central area imo

The old woman who works here needs an attitude check. How about crack a smile and fake that you enjoy working. Completely rude and brings the whole demeanor down of the deli.

Been coming for an extensively long time, honestly a great taste no matter what your getting, just DO NOT GO IF THE MAIN OLDER GENTLEMAN IS NOT THERE. The younger associates making the sandwiches constantly confuse orders quite often which normally isn’t a big deal, but today I was given someone else’s order, made it to my car, then the older rude lady in the front insinuated it was my fault, even though the associates making the food handed it directly to me. Even the customer whose food they gave to me asked if they could re-make it (as anyone should feel having their food with any random stranger).Very unorganized & not worth the run around for what should be a simple pick up.

I got a large meatball sub, which is the same size as a regular sub, the only difference is that it's got more meatballs in it. The problem was that they put a ton of meatballs in there, which is fine, that's what I wanted, but they put a very minimal amount of marinara sauce in it. It wasn't even enough sauce for a regular meatball sub, let alone a large one,and so I was really disappointed I couldn't enjoy it. I've been here before plenty of times and everything has always been good but they really, really dropped the ball on this one. Nobody likes a sandwich with a ton of meatballs in it and just a tiny amount of sauce. That's not what a meatball sub should be.

Really good spot, almost reminds me of home. I highly recommend it as I enjoy coming here. Note to the owner though, as much as I like coming in apparently some of your staff doesn't appreciate the business as when someone is coming up to the door he starts swearing and belly aching. As a customer that makes the experience unpleasant. Im sure he can do better.

When I was stationed at F.Bliss my buddies and I loved coming to this place. I left a few yrs ago. Came back to El paso to visit some friends and one of the first places I stopped at was bbd, but the quality is not the same. I remember the bread was soft and moist, but now some parts were hard and the bread was super and I mean super chewy. Had trouble breaking it apart when I was chewing it. Not to mention the place reeked of a mixture of mold and sewage

Never fail to deliver the best sandwich! Ever since I first tried it when it was at the corner of Stanton and Franklin downtown, 1986, they are still the best.
