Love this place! We literally travel into town just to come here for the AYCE dinner (the dinner has a wider selection). The service is *very* fast, the sushi and sashimi are incredible (if you're looking for good sashimi at a great price, this is the place!), and every waitress we've had has been super friendly.

We came here for a birthday and to meet some friends. The server was very familiar with the menu and gave us great advice. All four of us went for the all you can eat, it just seems like the best choice. The upside was the endless sushi and sashimi (especially the barbecue eel), the downside, though; everything has the same base taste. There is just too much cream cheese in the rolls. There is a bright spot. They really do have great and hot fried rolls. We will certainly be coming back again, but this isn't the place to go for diverse specialty rolls.Vegetarian options: Look, you can eat vegetarian here. It won't be easy.Dietary restrictions: Menu is clearly marked with ingredientsParking: Easy access from Mesa, and easy exit as wellKid-friendliness: Plenty of great choices for children, and big children!Wheelchair accessibility: This is a ♿️ handicap accessible location

Ok, for starters, I wasn't a fan of the decor. I couldn't figure out if I was eating at Bubba Gump's, Joe's Crab Shack, or a Chinese Buffet.Nevertheless, my husband and I decided to give them a try.Inside, we were greeted and seated promptly. The servers were friendly and gave us prompt attention. Our food came out fairly quickly. So quick that by the time I got out of the restroom to wash my hands after ordering, my order was already on the table. We tried the white tuna, salmon, and eel sashimi. Out of the 3, I'd have to say the salmon was the most decent tasting. For appetizers, I ordered takoyaki, and my husband ordered the salmon tataki. The takoyaki had a bit too much of the batter and not enough octopus. It needed a little more time in the fryer. The batter tasted a bit undercooked. The salmon tataki, however, was pretty good, according to my husband. For the main course, I ordered the hibachi steak and salmon. I would have preferred not to have the teriyaki sauce over my dish, so I'll have to remember to request it to be put on the side the next time we come back. That's IF we decide to come back.We ordered some nigiri and rolls as well. The rolls were cut too big for my taste. The Philly Roll cream cheese was overpowering, and the rice was also too much. Both the nigiris and the rolls were underwhelming, but for El Paso, I think it sufficed. There aren't really many places here for good sushi. They do not offer half rolls, so I was disappointed about that. It kept me from ordering all I could eat because the rice was too filling. For dessert, they only had vanilla ice cream available. No mochi or tempura ice cream, which was also a big disappointment. Dessert was kind of the deal breaker for me.I think the only saving grace for LA Sushi is their fast and friendly service, which is a rarity in the Asian F&B culture. All in all, it was a heartbreaking experience. I wanted to like the place, but having lived in the Bay Area and Las Vegas, I have some high expectations. But for El Paso, I guess this place will have to do.

We were attended by a young bearded gentleman as a party of 4. As soon as we walked in we were greeted warmly and sat instantly. Our drinks came out within a couple of minutes and not to mention the food right after. The plates kept coming as we ordered and each one exceeded our expectations. It was my daughter's birthday and she said it was the best sushi she's had in her life. The receipt says "Boss" so I am not sure if that is his name but a huge thanks to our server and staff fir making our first dining experience at this restaurant amazing. The quality and taste were out out of this world.

All you can eat sushi and hibachi. They have special rolls like dragon roll, volcano roll and yum yum roll that has crabmeat tempura, cucumber, cream cheese topped with eel, avocado and spicy mayo. The edemame was excellent. The hibachi plates include rice. Very tasty and filling.Vegetarian options: Cucumber, seaweed and avocado salad. Vegetable rice, sweet potato roll, vegetable tempura, etc.
