One of the best eatery places in El Paso is a hidden gem called Catfish Basket. Your order is made fresh and the customer service is top notch. We enjoyed the experience and delicious options we selected. There were other patrons visiting for the first time just like us. We heard them say they’d be back. We will too!
The lady was too busy at the counter talking to a friend the friend noticed me in step to the side after about 10 or 15 minutes I place my order sit down and when it was done the cook hit the bell and told her order ready for pickup she continued to talk to her friend another 5 or 10 minutes before turning around to get the order
3.5 stars. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and kind. We ordered the catfish with shrimp combo with a sweet tea. You're able to choose a side and we tried the coleslaw and hush puppies, and a side of fried okra. The catfish was battered and cooked perfectly (def give them 5 stars for the catfish) but the shrimp, hush puppies, and fried okra were overcooked, and borderline burnt.
