Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs

Neat sandwich spot with a bar. I ordered La Canna sandwich w/ garlic bread and spicy pickle chips. Super delicious, definitely a spot to try out.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, we ordered for pickup and they told us our order wasn’t ready when we got there, so we sat and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited some more, finally the manager asked us what we were waiting for and we told her an app order she pointed at the pickup area and asked why we didn’t go there, we told her someone had told us our order wasn’t ready yet. Well apparently our order had been sitting for who knows how long! She said “my bad” as she handed it to us and ordered her employee to get our drinks. Food was alright, of course it was cold and soggy by then.

First time here! Atmosphere is chill. Lots of sandwich options for everyone. Unique flavors with some traditional choices as well. Our food came out perfect and staff were extremely patient and kind with ordering. Will come back again! 10/10 recommend ?

If I could give negative points regarding the service, I would. Besides, they never solve the problem. Not even by the email they comment here to make themselves look good.

I've been a loyal Cheba Hut fan for many years, so I was excited when this location on Sunland park Dr. opened on 4/19. Unfortunately, my experience has been consistently disappointing. On the first day, my sandwich was incorrect and missing ingredients. I went back the second day with my kids, and 3 out of 6 of our sandwiches were wrong. I received mine 45 minutes after everyone else.

Since then, we've been back at least 10 more times, and not once has our order been correct. It's disheartening to see so many other customers sending their sandwiches back too. The worst experience was when I brought sandwiches to my son and his wife at the hospital after they had a baby. We opened the bags only to find two sandwiches missing. I called and spoke with a manager who was dismissive and unhelpful. When I finally got the missing sandwiches hours later, there was still no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. I was actually told “you’re welcome it wasn’t a problem at all” Ah, yes it was a problem!

The lack of accountability and poor service is astonishing. Despite my love for Cheba Hut, the repeated mistakes and unprofessionalism at this location make it impossible to enjoy. I would rather drive 55 minutes to another Cheba Hut than continue to deal with the poor service here. It's a shame because the food can be great when done right.

Horrible service! They forgot about our order and it took 40 minutes for them to finally bring our order out. Then they got the order wrong when they brought it.
