Had to stop here on my road trip as I've always heard of this place for years. I'm so glad I did! Tacos were delicious! The sauce they are drowning in was tasty and I loved that the taco still had a slight crunch. That green salsa they give you is amazing with the right level of heat! And the staff was very kind to me, from the cashier to the bus boy, they all are very welcoming. If I'm ever in El Paso again, I'll have to stop by.

Micropohone speaker to announce ready orders is way too loud, they need to adjust volume.
Ok. Worst experience I have ever had there. There was a guy literally yelling order numbers over and over. Loud and annoying. Couldn’t even talk over him. He thought he was funny. He definitely wasn’t. The food sucks. It’s some new recipe or something and nasty. I loved chicos but this isn’t chicos.
Chico's in the 90s was a decent meal and since then it's become one of the most overrated restaurants in El Paso. I think nostalgia is what keeps them in business still, people hoping they walk in a find something great again. The food is far too bland for the prices they have began to charge, $8.80 for a double that used to be $5. None of the staff wear hair nets, guys and girls both have long enough hair that they should be wearing them so I see how people are finding hairs in their food.
The food definitely, is not the same as when I was growing up, Here in El Paso, Texas. The service was okay. The cashier wasn't very nice, but the tray guy was
This place very rarely disappoints. I know that it can be a little odd calling them tacos, but if you look passed the normal, it is more of a traditional and acquired taste. I was raised with this food and proud to say it. Thanks to the Mora family for continuing this tradition. Blessings.
Still love it! Just wish they were open late like before.
Ordered a double and a side of fries, the tacos had no flavor, hard thick shell and black meat inside, I didn’t enjoy at all. I unfortunately noticed the black meat when I was on my last two. I will not be coming back, if you want similar food, soggy peso has flautas that don’t have black meat

Just like old time. The food was better than I remember it. But the memories were just as good.
This is one of El Paso's staples. This place has been around for a minute, good stuff for tacos , burgers , hotdogs, and fries
Delicious!
Taco sauce lacked flavor.
Place sucks, I guess i don't look Mexican enough, service suffers. The sauce is cold, just cuz you pour it into Styrofoam cups won't stay warm
