Real Island vibes!!
I tried a new restaurant on the far east side of El Paso today. It’s called Da Real Aloha BBQ. I walked in and I was welcomed by the staff. I took a look at the menu and it’s a small menu, but the food was delicious. I ordered the char siu chicken(mini). It was the smallest plate on the menu, but it was still a lot of food. I had to take it home. I also ordered a Dr Pepper it was separate. The chicken was good, but a little sweet. I wanted to order the chicken katsu, but it was going to be a 25 minute wait. My mom ordered the spicy wicked katsu chicken. That dish was delicious, but it wasn’t spicy it had a good kick to it. The rice was delicious and the potato and macaroni salad(mixed). Wasn’t good at first, but after a few bites it was starting to taste good. Overall, I will come back especially for the spicy wicked katsu.
It was so soo good like I loved it and the walls were my favorite color. The food tasted amazing I got the garlic chicken 😋
Coming from Hawaii, this place is going to be the best Hawaiian Local Food in El Paso. BIG PORTIONS💯 GREAT TASTE💯 ONOLICIOUS FOOD💯. JUST LIKE HOME!! ALOHA NUI!
This food is bomb! The chicken reminds me of Oahu. A must try if you haven't already.
I couldn’t even finish my food, no taste at all I have to ask for salt and soy sauce to atleast have some taste to their food. My wife and I went to eat for lunch and after we came home both of our stomach were hurting. And my wife threw up, couldn’t sleep her stomach hurts so bad. It was food poisoned. The food is poorly made. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.
Delicious food with huge portions. Each large plate can easily be shared between 2-4 people. This is one of our regular places to eat and the staff is always so nice.
? Food is well seasoned. Extra Teriyaki sauce available.
Mini = 1 choice entrée
Regular = 2 choice entrée

Ummm how have we never been here?! The food was amazing! It’s hard to find a good place to eat out nowadays. This is like eating out, but home cooked food at the same time. Comfort food for sure. ?

OMG! Who closes there kitchen early!! So we just happen to be in the area from Canutillo due to my son having a football game. We tried calling several times to place a pick up order since 7:00pm. No one ever answered and when they finally picked up they stated that they do not take orders. Ok, so we headed over as fast as we could on to get there at 7:45pm. 1st they asked if we placed an order to go for pick-up? What? They do allow it? 2nd they stated "sorry the kitchen was closed early". Well what?? It's 7:45pm, 15 minutes before closing. She said, "don't worry we will be open tomorrow". Excuse me... we drove from the westside. Food is good but there service sucks!!! Wow I guess they are doing well enough to turn customers away. When customers have a variety of choices to spend there money on food, they are happy to say "NO, sorry we are closed0. Ha!! Not coming back.

Love this place! Tried it today for the 1st time. Generous portions for the price!!! We all left happy & stuffed with leftovers. Recommended by our co-worker. We will be using them for our catering event in September. Dustin, the owner, is super nice, met our needs and was very helpful in figuring out what we would need for our upcoming event.
