Visiting El Paso from Dallas this was the best Argentinean stake EVER. Nice and juicy, great portions and many left overs. Outstanding customer service.

When I went they did not had AC, and it was super hot outside, plus eating a hot soup made it a really bad experience.

Verde soup is really spacy but Good

Presentation of food was ok, it looked good. Service, not so good, it felt like they were lost and didn't know who was going to attend us. Taste, meat was excellent (pastor), but noodles and broth had no flavor whatsoever. The soup itself was very thin. Came with high expectations since it was highly recommended, I left disappointed. There is room for improvement, I can totally see the concept they are trying to achieve. Just need to work harder on the broth and noodles.

Japanese cuisine with a Mexican twist? As someone who is Asian and Mexican, paint me intrigued! I "accidentally" learned about El Cuartito by running into it after leaving one of my favorite coffee joints, Hillside Coffee and Donut Co. It's in between Hillside and Malolam. There's a small red neon sign at the entrance to greet you. Today was a chilly day (we actually got some snow!), so I figured it was the perfect day to try their ramen. There's a black curtain you go through upon entering. I understand the business name is El Cuartito but was still a little surprised at how limited the seating capacity was, like, 7-8 total. I was told there is an open patio area when weather permits. Thankfully, it wasn't packed and I had my pick. The interior is dark (mostly black with red accents) and the lighting is dim. I wished there was more natural lighting so one could really appreciate the beauty of the ramen. Customer service was good. My server was David and he was attentive and prompt. He brought me my Refreshing Mezcal and explained how most people arrange it. By the time I finished it, David brought me my Pastor ramen. Colorado and Verde seem to be the fan favorites, but I wanted to try something different and I love tacos al pastor. Presentation was on point and it smelled amazing. The portion size was a lot bigger than I thought it would be; I couldn't finish it because I was so full. Although it was very good, I did think the broth lacked a little depth. Still great, though! I would go back, for sure, to try other offerings. David presented me with an envelope before leaving. He said there was some El Cuartito "bucks" inside good for a discount on my next visit, but the amount would be revealed next month and the envelope had to be opened by my server. Okay, you guys got me! See you next month!

Hours of operation are incorrect. Wandered in circles trying to find an entrance thinking it was opened as advertised. Really was looking forward to the ramen, was.

Cool spot, had a great meal one time and mediocre meal another. I would still come back.

Ive been here several times and enjoyed the food. Tonight I got take out and asked for limes. When I got home I was disappointed because they looked kinda dry. I squeezed a few into my food and as I got further into the limes noticed that some of them actually look used.... absolutley disgusted. Will not return.

This place has delicious ramen that will make you get a little taste of nice Mexican cuisine on the way. I was iffy about trying it, but I have never regretted it ever since the first time. A must try for all!

The place is tiny, the table was extremely wobbly and almost felt like if you weren’t watching where your drink was the glasses would fall and shatter, due to the small size if groups of people are talking extremely loud you can’t really hear who is talking, considering it’s right next to Malolam, that’s quieter than the group of guys practically shouting the entire time. Both noodle bowls my boyfriend and I got tasted good, with decent flavor, however I have to only give this place one star for the simple fact that we both got food poisoning from two separate bowls and we’ve eaten at several questionable places and never experienced food poisoning which comes down to a santization and food prepping issue. We also haven’t been the only ones to get sick after eating from here. Save your $30+ and go eat somewhere that won’t make you sick.

Ramen was amazing! It is a great fusion of Japanese and Mexican cuisine. Price is reasonable; you are getting quality food. We ordered the Colorado and the Verde. The meat was cooked to its point. I have eaten in some of the best Ramen shops in the US: LA (Daikokuya), Las Vegas (Monta) and Austin (Tatsuya), and without doubt this is among the finest! Be aware that this is not traditional Ramen! It is a fusion! But definitely excellent!!

The most delicious Ramen with a twist. I have tried almost all the Ramen on the menu, except the vegetarian. The space is small and intimate with low lighting. Perfect ambiance for date night or just a few friends.

They don't shy away with the ingredients, but the main part of ramen is the broth, it lacks flavor. I added soy sauce, siracha, and was ok, just ok. The tables wobble so much this was my second time. I'Il be hesitant to come the third time.
