Inconsistencies is what make or break any store.
Prado Bakery has been extremely inconsistent when it comes to their bread. Went to get breakfast this Saturday at 8am and ALL bread was smaller in size, also 50%. Our go to bread is always: arracadas, apple fritters, piedra de chocolate and simon. Let me tell you what a disappointment it was! Apple fritter was like they bought them from walmart, small, no taste and not as crunchy as before. Arracadas, they didn't had any so biugh6regular conchas and my wife said that it tasted bland and the sugar on too was half missing (checked the bag, was not there. La piedra de chocolate had sprinkles, REALLY? Who puts sprinkles. Never I've seen it but ok. Taste was bad, lost it taste. Mind you they even had white frosting and red frosting, again never seen that. Simon was still normal size but also not as tasty as before. Overall, very disappointmented in it.

What makes things even worse was that I would always order a burrito de Verde, don't even get me started. In the past, it was the bomb, best verse burrito I've ever tasted. This Saturday burrito, was more spicy that usual (which it is welcomed) but just had no taste. You could taste the meat, but not in a good way (wasn't properly washed)

I must say that Prado bakery went downhill a few month back but this Saturday was the last straw for us! I don't think they will become who they were since I always see signs about looking for bakers, another concerning thing because what is really happening since the company is not keeping their employees... Who knows. But just a matter of time I guess..

I ordered two burritos for my 10 and 11 year old daughters and both contained large pieces of eggshell. This is unacceptable and shows a serious lack of quality control. It made for a very unpleasant experience and my daughters are now hesitant to eat there again. I hope this issue is taken seriously and addressed to prevent it from happening to other families.

Bread looked okay, nothing out of this world, same as any other bakery in El Paso. we didn't get a chance to taste because the employee started taking care of the people behind us, totally ignoring us. I get it if the place was packed, but there was one family in front of us. e3 employees working, not difficult to notice who was entering.
By the way people they are hiring baker if you guys are looking for a job. I just hope they treat their employees better than customers

Prado has the best tamales, tortillas, and pan dulce!! I love it! BUT their burritos forget it. No bueno at all my opinion only. I had to come home and season and add water to the dry papas ala mexicana.

I was recommended this terrible place. The first time I went, I paid $17.98 for two large bowls of menudo. I asked if it came with meat, and at that price, I thought it would. My surprise was terrible; it was just water and corn. I complained, and then they charged me another $7.58 for adding meat. but in my opinion, having one price for just water and corn and another price with meat is a big fraud

The service was very dry and robotic. I ordered a dozen of the red chile tamales, and a couple of chocolate frosted donuts. I’m very disappointed with my whole purchase! All I got was a masa in the tamales. They lacked flavor, very little red chile and most importantly they forgot to add meat! This was a total waste of my money! The donuts tasted of old grease and the chocolate frosting crumbled off because they were old and stale! I won’t be buying from this bakery again and I am eager to share this experience with everybody, including my family and friends! First and last time here, so disappointed, 1 star is too generous for this place!

El Prado Bakery has some great things going for it — their bread is definitely a 5-star, always fresh and delicious, and their menudo has solid flavor that I’d rate at about 4 stars. The service has also always been warm and friendly, which I appreciate.

My only disappointment is that they charge extra for salsa/chile. Most bakeries include this with your order, so it was surprising to find out it wasn’t offered here unless you pay for it. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference when comparing experiences.

Overall, good food and service, but I do hope they reconsider the extra charge for salsa/chile.

Today we finally stopped at this place to check out the bread . It does has a large selection of it . They also sells Burritos so I got 3 different ones since we didn’t have breakfast this morning so as you can tell we were hungry . Burritos were good in size however just tasteless . We all agreed on that . It was a shame of a good size Desebrada burrito with no seasoning whatsoever. Same for the other to types of burritos . I also try the cone type pastry . That was okay .

Was in line for over 30minutes with a huge line behind us and a good 20 people in front of of us only for employees to let you know there is no more pozole or menudo ONLY when it’s your turn to get to the counter… for a super busy bakery every Sunday with 100ths of people waiting in line to buy menudo, it would be much appreciated to have some sort of sign or notice once the menudo or pozole is done for the day to not have one waiting in line for nothing.

Just took my parents to go get pan dulce and as we were going to order we noticed lots of flies inside the bread. We told the lady there working and she was like whatever not bothered by it . We were grossed out by it we left.
