Awesome Food
Delicious sweet bread, flour tortillas, carnitas and beef broth.......
Food is alright..ladies in the restaurant suck, always look like you're bothering them
Be careful when exchanging lottery tickets. the girl with light hair. I exchanged one of the tickets for one of the ones that were there.
Been coming here since I moved to El paso!
Place was recommended by an old friend.
I always come here for unique Mexican snacks chips or drinks.
Staff is always friendly and welcoming!
Very rich and clean, very good service and very well stocked with everything
Rico's sweets served by their owners in a family atmosphere
Terrible Experience at El Zape
I had the worst experience at El Zape. Despite being the first in line, the waitress completely ignored me and prioritized all the other guests who came after me. After serving everyone else, she continued to pass out orders while leaving me standing there, completely disregarded. This was extremely disappointing, especially as a Black man in El Paso. I expected to be treated with basic courtesy, but instead, I was left feeling unwelcome and disrespected. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who values being treated fairly.
Love this place my kids go crazy for the food and the carnitas š
Been going here for 30 years, it's a family tradition and a pillar to the community . It has been vital in servicing our Montana Vista community for more than the time I've been going. They have definitely played and continue to be a huge part in building our community. I simply love everything about it. Delicious food, great selection, and staff... Beyond awesome, treat everyone like family. Attentive professional and kind. Means a lot to my family and I, being able to come in and upon entering , seeing familiar faces with huge smiles. Priceless.... Superb job.. never fail to disappoint... Only time I leave sad is when they run out of the pan dulce I wanted atm...they run out quite often... Apologies y'all! Can't help it š everyone just loves it and the carnitas...mmmmmmmm .. .. they are at the top of my list ... Number one reason for the season.... Absolutely mouthwatering delicious....šš»š

My first time going to El Zape and got food poisoning. Food was not it I got a Gordita and the meat was dry felt like playdoh and no flavor. ONLY TOOK 3 BITES didnāt even eat the whole thing and couldnāt eat nothing for 2 days straight just imagine I ate the entire Gordita. Came home from work after throwing up more then 3 times starting seeing black when I was literally working felt nauseous and dizzy had cotton mouth the whole time honestly donāt know how such ā an amazing food placeā lets this happen to their meat. WOST EXPERIENCE EVER NEVER GOING BACK.
A one stop shop!!
They have dine in and bakery and meat market all in one had not been in there in 20 years and and I live close. I have no complaints store has everything
The restaurant behind the shop closes at 7pm, not 9pm.. we didnāt know and showed up at 8 and it was closed. Went the next day for breakfast and absolutely LOVED it. Great place for real Mexican food, and for loading up on carbs for climbing at Hueco.
