The restaurant, food, drinks...all fabulous. The outrageously unprofessional waiter who enjoys humiliating others...a liability. Based solely on his behavior and anyone who would employ him, I would never return or recommend. Truly a shame when an employee thwarts your hard efforts in this manner.

My recent visit to ELEMI, a gem among Mexican restaurants, was an extraordinary journey of flavors, culture, and unparalleled service, largely thanks to an exceptional individual named Kai.From the moment I walked into ELEMI, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere, an authentic embodiment of Mexican culture. The colorful décor and lively music set the tone for a memorable evening. Amidst this inviting ambiance, Kai, our server, greeted us with a warmth and enthusiasm that made us feel immediately at home.Kai’s knowledge of the menu and his passion for Mexican cuisine shone brightly as he guided us through ELEMI’s culinary offerings. His recommendations were spot-on, starting with a selection of appetizers that were both innovative and deeply rooted in traditional flavors. The highlight was undoubtedly the handmade tortillas, a simple yet profound testament to the care and authenticity ELEMI invests in every dish. For the main course, Kai suggested the mole poblano, a dish that was a revelation. The complexity of the sauce, with its nuanced layers of chocolate, spices, and chili, perfectly complemented the tender chicken. It was Mexican cuisine at its finest, executed with both respect for tradition and a flair for creativity. But the service provided by Kai elevated the dining experience to new heights. His attentive, yet unobtrusive care ensured our glasses were always full, our questions promptly answered, and our dining needs anticipated before we even realized them ourselves. His enthusiasm for the restaurant’s mission to deliver an authentic Mexican dining experience was infectious, making our meal not just a dinner, but a celebration of culture.Dessert was another high point, with Kai recommending the churros with chocolate sauce. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and not overly sweet, they were the perfect end to an exquisite meal.Kai's professionalism, coupled with his genuine personality, transformed our visit into an unforgettable experience. It was clear he took great pride in both his work and ELEMI’s dedication to authenticity and quality. In conclusion, ELEMI is not just a restaurant; it’s a destination for those seeking to immerse themselves in the richness of Mexican cuisine and culture. Thanks to Kai, our visit was a seamless blend of delicious food, exceptional service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. ELEMI deserves nothing less than a 10/10. I eagerly anticipate my next visit, knowing that Kai and the team will once again make it a spectacular dining adventure.

Being from out of town, I had no expectations. I loved how I was blown out of the water when I had this cultural experience. My family and I tried as much as we could from here, but you really can’t go wrong with the menu, everything is delicious. Thought and love went into every step of this dining experience. Loved even more so how the server did a guided experience through our meals. Everyone needs to go here.Vegetarian options: I’m not vegetarian, but the first part of my meal was all vegetarian options. My experience was so good, I wanted more.Parking: It was super busy for dinner, but we had a reservation so we were ok.Kid-friendliness: Saw plenty of families that were enjoying their meals together.

Food was amazing, we had the braised short rib,Brussel sprouts ,hurache and the chicharon fish tacos . The rib was fall off the bone , spouts were cooked perfectly with just the right amount of balsamic sauce , the black bean hurache was creamy and well balanced. For dessert we had the Chocolate Tamale, taste reminded me of a warm chocolate Abuelita atole. The mezcal old fashion was a perfect combination with the rib and tacos. Great selection of agave drinks . Wine list is limited.Great customer service . Reservations are recommended during the weekend. A definite stop .

I've never thought I will ever eat gourmet tacos and to my surprise this place not only serves them but they taste delicious. Our server was very attentive and the atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. I had the most authentic Paloma, the Agua chiles were amazing, the flautas were fire, and I was mind blown with the mushroom tacos. If you have enough space ask for arroz con leche chia seed dessert ugh.. Amazing!

I don’t know why this place is so hyped. The food doesn’t taste particularly great. It is just pricey with smaller portions. Get authentic Mexican food from real Mexican people. Their food is much better and cheaper.
