They have a great lunch deal special (comida corida), a lot of food for not a lot of money. The flautas are tasty, but kind of small. I got take-out from there a few times, and it was satisfying. The place is a bit small, not a lot of places to sit down. But for what you pay, it is good.
I really like tree sauce. But prices went up a lot. And the flutes are still just as thin. If on the comet I fill myself with 3 flutes, here I almost eat the dozen flutes, they are so thin. But the sauce is spicy and very rich.
Flautas are authentic and tasty. A few comments: the COVID-19 ‘fortress’ they’ve built around the ordering counter is a real put-off. It’s hard to get a hold of anyone if for example you need napkins or straws for example. Also: for being humble flautas it’s pretty pricey. Be weary of ordering soda pop because they aren’t cheap.
