Great place to dance 90s music on Friday nights

Funkmeyers is the perfect spot if you’re in the mood to dance and enjoy retro vibes—especially for fans of the ’80s. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, with great music, good drinks, and a full-on retro ambiance that takes you back in time. Be sure to bring your dancing shoes, because the dance floor is always calling. If you visit early in the day, you might even get the chance to play some classic ’80s video games, adding an extra layer of fun. An all-around great time—highly recommended!

Great music. Crowd is a little bit older. They played music from the 70s up to 2000. If you like old school music, this is the spot.

No air conditioning!! So exaggeratingly HOT. WHY? Good music great drinks. Insane. Cool the temperature inside.
First of all $4.50 for a budlight is outrageous! Second make sure you take a gas mask with you. The smoke/fog in there is overwhelming! Very hard to breathe. And the bathrooms, omg they are disgusting! I’ve seen cleaner bathrooms at rest stops! Last thing, It’s a hole in the wall bar, but they act like it’s a 5 start restaurant! Their dress code policy is pathetic! I honestly don’t recommend this place at all, but to each their own.
My husband and I enjoy this place, however a few suggestions..its always dusty, need more restrooms and need bigger dance floor..oh and play cumbias also please and ty

Night club/Bar busiest nights are Friday and Saturday, open on Sunday. During the week I couldn't tell you if they're open. Older crowd; I'd say 35 and older. But if you're younger and love 70s,80s, and 90s and some 2000s, it's the spot for you. Videos playing and matching the song that you're listening to. Guys you can try to get in with shorts and sandals but I think that they are frowned upon. Women are allowed with shorts on, that's funny huh? No dress code enforced for the girls.
I didn’t have a good experience at all my waiter was not paying any attention to me or my table I’ve also had to pick up family and friends that didn’t enjoy the experience as well and i believe the arcade bar is a better place to enjoy myself at least and everyone obviously new me and my friend and we still didn’t have good time again every time I try and give the place a chance I have bad experiences and a lot of my friends and coworkers say the same

They wouldn’t allow you to sit at the bar they literally took the stole from under us. Also dress code for real white t-shirt is a no go never again over inflated never come here again.

This would be the second time I visit a Funkmeyers Rec Room, and I got to say both were equally entertaining. On this evening, we went earlyish on a Friday night and talk about perfect timing. Not too crowded, with just the right amount of energy,
The video machines were up for grabs, (Pac- Man, Donkey Kong, Mortal Kombat, Centipede and others, the only this missing was an ol pinball machine) while others were watching the college football game on the giant projector screen. I also noticed a stage, not sure what this is for but could be for karaoke. Soon after they lower the lights just a little bit and pump up the music to your favorite 80s & 90s era, you can't help but to dance where you are.
They do have a happy hour, (?) which we had just missed, of course, but still average price on drinks. Our waiter was funny and fast, and makes a great Margarita. There are attentive to their customers as long as you sitting at the bar, other than that you are pretty much on your own. There is second mini bar right smack in the middle of the game area so it's no big deal getting a refill.
Overall I had a great time so much fun, I kissed a girl and I liked it and I will definitely be going back again. If you are of the video arcade generation, you must visit this place for yourself. It's a blast from the past but now you get to do it as an adult and with the beer, how fun is that?
