We ordered the churrazo steak, BOTH medium well and one came out perfect seasoned and temp but the other one was more medium rare with little seasoning wasn't as good as the other steak. We ordered the asada fries and they were just regular fries? i thought it was coming with something else. Service was good but we were the last table and it was barely 9:30 so we felt uncomfortable being the only table left if they close till11pm, they were already cleaning up so we just felt a little rushed and ordered our food to go half way our plate. I would come again just for a 2nd chance hopefully next time is better

Garufa is everything a steakhouse should be and much more. We stopped at Garufa for drinks and something sweet to eat before our dinner reservation at Weso, and I instantly regretted not making our dinner reservation for here. The intimate lighting shines off the white tablecloths, tastefully adorned by gold accents, and contrasted with a natural stone backdrop. Before we had even sat down, it was immediately apparent that Garufa takes distinct pride in paying attention to all the details that make for the perfect ambiance to a restaurant. Our experience continued to get better when we took our seats at the bar and Vince and Jonathan expertly crafted delicious cocktails for us. We are talking true mixologists here, and their skill showed in how spectacular the cocktails were. To top it off, we had the panqueque de dulce de leche and were absolutely blown away by how perfect the crepes were. We were so focused on how delicious this dessert was that I completely forgot to get a photo of it before digging into the decadent caramel. Oscar checked in on us multiple times to make sure everything was to our liking and warmly invited us to return for dinner next time we are on the West side. We are eagerly looking forward to coming back to Garufa and indulging in what looked like a delectable menu. If Garufa’s entrees are anything like their cocktails and desserts, we may have found our new favorite steakhouse in El Paso!

After an issue at another restaurant on Valentine’s Day (lying about available menu), my husband and I called Garufa to see if they could fit us in. We explained what happened and that we only had a babysitter for our little one for a few hours… and Garufa went out of their way to fit us in and make sure we had a wonderful meal! We chose to order off their regular menu (rib eye and tenderloin, plus multiple sides and dessert to go) and each had a drink. Everything was amazing, including the warm bread, and the service was phenomenal. At no point were we rushed, which was amazing considering the last minute fitting us in. I highly recommend Garufa, especially for special occasions. This is now my new recommendation to friends! Thank you, Garufa!

I enjoyed the service and atmosphere. However, the kitchen was very slow, which did not bother my party but could be frustrating normally. I also thought that the food provided did not match the pricing. For the price, I would expect a quality vegetable dish and carbohydrate to be included with every main dish. However, only a few of the entree options had vegetables and carbohydrates included.

We had an outstanding experience. The restaurant was very busy and the bartender Jonathan, ended up being our waiter upstairs. Not only was the service immaculate, but the food was to die for. The Beurre Blanc Chilean Sea Bass paired with the Lomo Al vVino Tinto were so delicious. The smoked Old Fashion was amazing as well. A beautiful and sophisticated ambiance in an upscale setting , we will definitely be making our New year’s reservation here.

I order the ribeye and honestly is one of the most delicious steaks I have ever had in my life. We made a reservation and had to wait a little bit due to a big event at the restaurant but the staff was so kind and apologetic, even offering complimentary drinks. And to make it even better Diego, our waiter, was excellent! His service was amazing and so mindful of our conversation, I noticed he wouldn’t interrupt us when I was talking to my wife. I honestly forgot about the waiting after everything, would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fancy romantic dinner.

I had a deeply disappointing experience at Garufa Restaurant. Upon arrival at 9:38, I was met with unacceptable behavior by the door person. Their demeanor was not only rude but also demeaning. As an Argentinian, I felt discriminated against, and their comments left a lasting negative impression. The unwelcoming treatment I received at the entrance set the tone for a disheartening evening. I was looking forward to enjoying a meal, but the encounter with the door person made it clear that Garufa Restaurant may not be a place where all patrons, particularly Argentinians, feel valued or respected. Unfortunately, I will not be returning or recommending this establishment to others. The lack of hospitality and discriminatory behavior I experienced is not something I am willing to overlook or support.

I've encountered an unexpected issue at Garufa. Despite their online hours listing closing time as 11:00 PM, I arrived at 9:30 PM and was turned away. The server informed me that the kitchen was closing early. While I understand things happen, the server/hots dismissive and rude demeanor left a negative impression. It's frustrating to be refused service well within their posted operating hours, especially with such poor customer service. 12/23 9:30 PM closing time says 11 PM per business profile.
