Lovely little classic diner with absolutely delicious food. I had the Huevos rancheros and they were so good! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Theres lots of families dining in and the staff seem like they enjoy working there.

On our recent trip to El Paso we decided to stop here, so I saw this place has been around for a good while and the star of the menu is the menudo. 9am on Sunday and the place was busy, we had a 10 min wait so not too bad.
The vibe was layback a type of everyone knows everybody else.
The menu is a simple homemade style and yes the menudo was delicious. I had to ask for cilantro because where I come from that’s how we eat it. I loved the bread it was crispy and perfectly buttered. The service was friendly and polite it was almost like my Tia was serving. Definitely looking forward to the next time.

After 30yrs of not visiting EL Paso was there a week ago, tried Good Luck Cafe and we'll the name says it all! Just to be fair I only tried 3 items the ground beef hard shell tacos no flavor. The caldo de rez soup, a little bit better on the flavor but it was served on the colder side. Last item red chile enchiladas with mozzarella cheese, again the flavor issue and red sauce was to sweet and more like a paste. We did finish it, we where hungry just arrived from LV, NV.

I hadn’t been by here in over 10 years. The menudo was some of the best I’ve had in town. The service was friendly and attentive. However this place is severely dated and could benefit from some renovations. That would be my only reservation with going back.

They charge for chips n salsa and the salsa is nasty. Food was very nasty 💔 The menudo was cold and in a thick red sauce sauce, the brisket was stale dry & old, the caldo de res was bland no flavor no seasonings nothing the place looks like its packed but its only because it is so little inside....

I called and asked if they sold POZOLE and they said yes and so I placed an order of two pozoles and one menudo...got home to a menudo and two 16oz cups of MAIZ!!! how do you not know what POZOLE is? Yea that MAIZ is used in pozoles but that is not POZOLE smh so when we go back to return it the old lady had the audacity to have and attitude and say we can get our money back but they call that POZOLE... I said look you don't sell pozole and that's fine at least just give me two menudos because I'm not eating corn by itself 🤦🏻 and someone else had to come and say ok ...like what kind of weird stuff are they running... MAIZ and POZOLE two different things
