The staff was very friendly and provided good service. I ordered a bowl of menudo. It was good. The bread that came with it had way too much butter which was not to my taste. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.
The food was ok. But this spot is a relic from the past. If you want to feel the heartbeat of this part of town and get an idea of the community, this is where you go. This has that greasy spoon feel with a more Southwest American vibe. A staff of real American blue collard workers, where English is the second language but service and commitment are first.
