Friendly, warm and welcoming staff and service! Glad to have gone. Especially liked the gordita de maíz with rajas and queso. Great flavor, just the right amount of spice and it had a few pieces of big corn in it (hominy?). They have Mexican coke in bottles, which is always nice. A sweet spot for some comfort food in Segundo Barrio.

First time trying this place. Flavors were okay, on the bland side. The spice was ok but not much flavor. Nothing exciting. Wouldn't return. We ordered chile colorado, guisado, picadillo, and all were mostly potato. Guisado quesadilla was ok, again not worth the $3-4ea burrito or gordita full of potato. Nah, no thanks.
Yours truly,

Dirty cross contamination. Handling money and ready to eat food. Sanitary practices are terrible here.

My mother and I consistently enjoy visiting this establishment for their delectable gorditas. The accompanying potatoes with green chili are also highly recommended.

Terrible place, I don't recommend it for more than half an hour for breakfast and a very small one. I ordered fried eggs and all the yolks were burst. I asked for a coffee. They brought me a dirty cup with cinnamon that they had brought me to prepare the coffee and they never brought anything.

The service is good, but the flavor of the stews, NOT the flour, does taste good.
This is the second time I've bought the first one, it was pork rinds and the gordita soaked in so much water that the pork rinds had. The second arriero was more beans than meat and well, this place is not that good.
