A friend of mine came up from Austin. He grew up here on El Paso and wanted to grab a bite at an old spot he liked. Of course I was down cause you know food.. so we pulled up to a little place had that old school feel. Nothing spectacular. My buddy bragged about the gorditas. As a good Mexican who always has to have a full stomach, these chubby girls achieved that mission. Big, filling, good flavor. Those that you bite into and say wooow, they are so good. Give these chubby girls a chance and you won't leave hungry.

If you are short on time, this is not the place! It takes a long time even if there are not many people. I have come several times and in general it is always the same. The flavor is good, I like that they have grained beans. But it is not always the same seasoning. Sometimes they are very delicious, sometimes they are not.
