Very busy restaurant on Saturdays, we were seated in a timely manner, but waited a bit long for our waiter, it seems they were under staffed, but our waiter did his best. Overall food was good.

I normally don’t leave reviews on things but this has gotten out of hand. Beware of the amount being charged to your card and TRIPLE check your account to make sure you are being charged correctly. I came to eat for a birthday dinner last Wednesday and this week noticed a charge over 20 dollars more than what was on the check I signed off on. Called the place they let it ring after the third time calling they answer with the worst customer service. Spoke to manager Miguel. Asked him about the situation. He then tells me to call back in an hour. AN HOUR GOES BY again didn’t wanna answer the phone. Then proceeds to say “well it’s the gratuity added plus a sales tax” and I was confused and asked okay but why is it being charged to my card after the fact I already signed off for it??? And why am I being taxed again after being brought the check? Asked him to explain the process. proceeded to act rude and mansplain gratuity. Then he says “well I’ll make the server bring back his tip if that’s what you want” I said I’ll be stopping by tonight. I get there and some other manager attends to me didn’t even say his name. then proceeds to say he can’t help because he does not have clearance to “closed files” that’s the GM’s job and couldn’t present any information to me or get me the receipt I supposedly signed off on according to Miguel and said “oh just call tomorrow you don’t need to come in here he will fix it” i informed him that i did already call and i informed the man i was coming in. I then asked when he would be in so i could speak with him he said “open till like the evening 5 or maybe 6” I asked what day? “He said not too sure” and then shooed me out and walked off. To top it off I know serving is difficult and it’s not great pay tips are the majority of it. HOWEVER the server which wasn’t the best charged the other families gratuity and the tax included in their checks when he brought it to them not AFTER the fact. Following he charged the party I was with gratuity 2 times cause they used cash. The poor guy seemed overwhelmed but that’s not a reason to give yourself an extra “gratuity & tax” tip. Now meeting the manager I can see why that may have happened and it’s probably not the first time.

If you’re thinking of going to this particular steak place, run. We were there last week and the food was atrocious. There were four of us. My daughter ordered a plate with meat and jumbo shrimp and the jumbo shrimp were really small. My granddaughter ordered ribs and they were very overcooked-burned. Lastly, I ordered the fillet. It was still mooing, my mashed potatoes were cold and the gravy tasted like it had sat in the fridge a few days. To say nothing of the disgusting tortilla soup. The only good thing about this meal was the server. I paid over $200 and was expecting a whole lot better meal.

Server Hiram has a horrible attitude, sarcastic throughout the whole meal, would constantly forget items… Made everyone lose our appetite, avoid that server at all costs. Other than that everything else was good.
