I’ve honestly never experienced a poor experience at the greenery until today. We went in today for lunch and were seated. It took about 12 min alone just to get our waters, even had to ask the server again. We put our orders in with our drink order. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and took another 17 minutes. Again we had to ask what was taking so long. Finally it came out and our food followed a few minutes later. For the amount of time the food took to come out none of it was hot. It was all room temperature not even warm. Only two items that came out were hot. We mentioned this to the server who was very polite and apologized but the experience alone was terrible. The restaurant was not even busy to warrant poor service and food. The manager after a long wait from when we requested to speak to her finally came over. It was again another 10 minutes to received our requested check. Again had to wait for them to take payment. No sense of urgency. Very disappointed. The restaurant and food quality overall are no where near what it used to be.

The Shepard's pie if atrocious, the spices used don't mix well together.

A nice spot with a cozy ambiance. Had lunch here with some friends on a week day! Service was great but it took a while for our food to come out. Each dish was flavorful and delightful. The fish and chips had a nice batter and crunch. Sandwiches were not soggy and the pasta was seasoned well. Of course you can't get a cheese pizza wrong, lol. I would for sure return to try other options on the menu.

20 minutes and couldn't even be seated.
Not impressed. We went there today to try to have lunch. There was a girl at the hostess stand, we made eye contact and I said hello, she said hello and then just walked away. She then proceeded to go about the restaurant filling up tea and water and left us there for over 5 minutes. I found this to be rude so we left. Why is the hostess filling up tea and water at tables? Are you understaffed? Not impressed, won't be back.

Great food. Was here with a very large party with a set menu. Server was adequate, probably could have used 2 for our sized group, food was delivered before silverware. Nice restaurant, would go back with a small group.

My mom and I have been going to The Greenery for over 15 years, even after the ownership change, because we’ve always supported local. But today’s visit left us extremely disappointed. We politely asked our waitress, Hannah, if it was possible to get a cup of carrot soup instead of a bowl—something they’ve kindly done before. We even told her not to worry if they couldn’t accommodate. Still, the first thing she said when walking into the kitchen was, “Feel free to say no.” There were only about three tables taken in the entire restaurant during lunch, so we could clearly hear everything. Another waitress, Kat, chimed in saying, “Just tell them no,” and added, “Just tell them to buy the whole bowl and pour it in a cup—that’s what I always say.” The chef, Manny, also became loudly irritated. It felt like they were speaking that way on purpose—passive-aggressively—to make sure we heard how annoyed they were that we even asked. When Hannah came back, she acted like we hadn’t heard anything and gave us a scripted workaround that felt dismissive and dishonest. They’re located in Sunland Park Mall, which isn’t a very busy place. With all the restaurant options El Paso has now—local and chain alike—you’d think they’d want to take better care of loyal customers, especially when the restaurant was nearly empty. If the answer had simply been no, we would’ve understood. But the way it was handled—with rudeness and zero professionalism—was unacceptable. After 15+ years of loyalty, we won’t be returning. We’ll also be contacting Desiree to share our experience.

The food is outstanding, so far the best restaurant ive eaten in El Paso, service is incredibly good. Peaceful and Good.
I have had many dishes at the greenery since I started working at the Solana mall. The reason I order out frequently is because they have a great team starting with Brisa who is always on top of her game making sure everything is always great. The chef Luis has always made it seamless any time I want to make alterations to the menu, for example this Friday I was truly craving steak nachos with cabbage and with chipotle ayoli etc. Even though it’s not on the menu they were happy to build it for me at no additional cost, and the taste was amazing and it was very filling! So to the great people at the greenery cheers and thank you for such exceptional service. I am always looking forward being back!

I have always loved the Greenery & one of my favorites is the seafood queso. Yet today, when I got a to go order of it, the container of queso was more than 2 inches from the top. It was disappointing & I felt I didn’t get my money’s worth. I love it & I’ve always told my friends that it’s the best ever & it is.
