It's great to have authentic soul food choices besides the run of the mill tacos and burritos which are common place here in El Paso.These nuggets are crispy, well battered, and seasoned to perfection.The dirty rice caught me off guard because so many people put pork in it and I don't eat pork. This is made with 100% ground beef.I even like the potato salad and I normally don't eat potato salad.You have to try the food if you're in the area.Parking: Pull up and park.

This place was recommended to me and Good lord it did not disappoint! Food was outstanding from the smoked neckbones to the fried cabbage and dirty rice! She is so kind and generous person. Please if you’re looking for a home cooked meal this is the place for you !!!! When I get back to El Paso again this is the first place I’m going to again.

Fried Pork chops were top picks but all the food is good and the sides are paired perfectly together with everything on the menu so mix and match cause youronna want more . Definitely go by and try this place out cause your missing out if you haven't been already..

The food here is excellent, but don’t come hungry. With only one person running the place (taking orders, cooking, & serving), service is very slow. Atmosphere is ok, it’s definitely hole in the wall vibe- no TV or music while you wait. I’d definitely come back, but recommend calling ahead to pick up rather than spending 45 mins~hour waiting in person.
