Horrendous. I ordered the lamb skewer plate delivered via Uber eats and it’s the worst experience ever. The meat cold, the pita bread hard as a rock, no flavor over all and the salad looked too old not fresh. Upset I already notified Uber eats. Why would I pay 25 plus dollars on this low quality meal ugh

My wife and I enjoyed the chicken kabob and lamb. The best part was the dessert! You HAVE to try the kunafe...it's like baklava but better for those of us that don't like our desserts too sweet!!!

I went with my wife .spending a good time. With excellent meals and appetizers. Best Turkish food in town.

Service was quick and excellent. It was empty when we stepped in(I'm assuming the parking lot construction is not good for business) so we almost didn't stay. I'm so glad we did. The meats were so juicy and flavorful. The grilled chicken reminded me of Pollo asado. The lamb had a great taste and the side salad had a great citrus flavor. The rice was a bit dry but the rest of the plate made up for it all. It was also the cheapest lunch I've had in a long time and I'm still so full. I'll definitely be back.

Chocolate baklava! That's what someone brought this morning to the Citizens Police Academy and he mentioned that there was a large Turkish community in El Paso, including a community center called RainDrop. I was intrigued and resolved to find a Turkish place to eat in El Paso ASAP! I devoured the baklava, it wasn't as chocolately as one would think, but has a delicate, slightly bitter, flavor that grounded the over the top sugary sweetness that baklava has. I normally don't eat more than one bite since it's SO SWEET and drenched with syrup, but the chocolate flavor juxtaposed was what made it much more palatable. The creaminess of the pistachio nuts and of course flaky layers made it a delightful mouthful. I was obsessed with singers like Tarkan and Mustafa Sandal back in my college days so I naturally gravitated to the food as well. My best friends in college were Greek, Turkish and my boyfriend was Persian and eating with all 3 was like WW3. All would claim ownership over simple famous dishes like stuffed grape leaves (dolmas/dolmades). Turkish food shares a lot of similarities with Greek, Persian, and Lebanese food, especially the emphasis on fresh ingredients. You'll find though that if you closely taste them, they're very district. I've found that the level of spices are different in each cuisine as well as the use of animal fats (Turkish, Lebanese) vs more seafood centric and olive oil (Greek/Persian). Also no pork in Turkish and non Christian Lebanese cuisines. Greeks really like to use oregano and thyme. Turks tend more toward allspice and bay. Turks/Persian uses sumac. Lebanese/Persian, toward thyme cardamom. Lebanese/Arabic culture uses a spice mixture called zaa-tar. These are only tendencies, though. All three groups use all the spices, just more or less than the others. All three are heavily influenced by Ottoman cuisine, though and have more similarities than differences. I've been wanting to try out Kebab Forever and since it was 7 mins away from the Police Academy down off Mesa, I went there for a late lunch. I was greeted right away and could sit anywhere, they have a condensed menu and the server immediately got me ice water. The space was clean and spacious, with a tiny area near the register selling Turkish novelties and snacks. The area was decorated with lamps and model sized replicas of famous monuments in Turkey. The music and television shows are Turkey centric, showing off the culture. A lot of UTEP students were dining in as well getting take out and I can understand why. What an incredible value, especially in these inflationary times. I ordered a Turkish coffee ($2.50) and Doner kabob wrap which came with salad, fries, or rice ($8.99). It all came hot and freshly made. The wrap was almost exploding, it was so stuffed and generous sized. The pita bread was warm but it made for messy eating especially since the Tzatziki sauce was served on the side. I can appreciate and understand why since it won't make the wrap soggy and you control the flavor but it was difficult since the foil would have to be unwrapped as you ate and things kept spilling out. The salad was fresh and since we're in El Paso, there was a 2nd green salsa-like sauce that was spicy! They asked me if I wanted sugar with my Turkish coffee and I said yes because I'm not a masochist. I prefer to add sugar to make its powerful flavor a bit more palatable. Since the sugar is added while the coffee is being cooked, you have to ask for it when you place your order. First time I had Turkish coffee, I was asked "az şekerli (ahz sheh-kehr-lee)" which will get you a little sugar, "orta şekerli (ohr-tah sheh-kehr-lee)" a medium scoop, or " just şekerli (sheh-kehr-lee)" which translates to "tons of sugar please--I hate the taste of real coffee." All in all, I really enjoy and appreciate the little mini trip to Turkey that Kebab Forever afforded. I love how many different cultures are in El Paso, it just takes a bit of hunting to find them. This is my first time visiting this local food spot. Found it here on Yelp. I'm not familiar with this area since I don't live in this state. But my family and I decided to give it a try. Located in a small shopping center close to the University. The restaurant had a little shop inside that I wasn't able to look through but I know it's closer to the cash register. The staff greeted us, were friendly and told us that we could pick any place we wanted to sit. We decided to try out some hummus. The hummus was served on a plate. It was very delicious, served with piping hot pita bread. We ordered the following: Beef Shish kebab plate, on a bed of rice and side salad consisting of cucumbers and tomatoes. Accompanied by flavorful spicy sauce and yogurt sauce. The beef had good taste but ran into quite a few pieces that were fatty and tough, but still overall a good dish. My family ordered the Adana and Lamb Doner wraps. They were served with a side of french fries. Both wraps had the same types of sauces that I received as well with my meal. Both were good in taste. We didn't get any dessert because we were too full from all the food that we had. But we will be sure to come back and visit the next time we are in town. Thank you.

Oh man, I can't even explain just how delicious the food was here!!! My husband and I had the Icli Kotte, Eskinder Doner, Beef Pide, and Baklava. Super AUTHENTIC and phenomenally delicious. We don't eat out much even though we are full time RVers, but if we had the opportunity, we would come here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! That's how tasty it was! I personally don't enjoy lamb because of it's funky taste, so when I tried their Doner, I was so surprised to find it wonderfully delicious! There was no funky taste or smell! This was the first time in my life that I was able to eat lamb, and enjoy it! I don't know how they pulled that off, but they definitely know what their doing!! I would recommend this place to everyone and come back here if we are ever in the area again! This is definitely a gem in the El Paso area! I would have posted some photos, but we were so excited about our food that by the time we realized to take some photos, we were almost done eating?

Service was great, food wasn't. It wasn't bad, just wasn't good. We ordered a lamb gyro and a beef kabab. They turned out to both be platters instead.

It's a good place for some great turkish food. For those looking for Halal, this is 100% Halal. I would definitely recommend the meat combo, which should cost you about 16 bucks. Just a little downside is that our waiter forgot several times, pieces of our menu, which was a little frustrating. Price wise it's standard and the ambience is very neatly turkish-centered (music, fabrics, flags etc)

Tried this place on a whim and so happy we did! The lamb doner wrap was melt-in-your-mouth tender and the beef shishkabob tasty and fresh. Great service and delicious food- definitely recommend!
