Excellent food, good friendly service. This place holds a special part of my heart as I have beem coming here since the 90s with my parents; they also came here as teens in the 80s. Good music, and awesome art on the walls.
I like to go to local and small restaurants. Some times you can find jewels. I can't say this is a jewel. It may be adequate when another place is so busy you will have to wait a long time and you are hungry now. As you may know. I compare the dishes I try to my mother's cooking. This does not feel like home cooking. It is differently feels you are away from home. This is a partial review since I have only gotten one dish. I may go back and try the staple of the house....
1st time back since the early 2000s. Some local people on social media & some co workers kept talking about Hamburger House. Decided last week 8/28/25 to give a revisit.
Glad we did. Greeted with a Smile & welcomed. Even from the cook.
We had the 5 star Menudo (large) very delicious & with a bit of spice kick. We sat at the counter & got to see the cook work his skills. Saw some delicious food make such as the hamburgers.
