Worst customer service ever. And that was from the owner. What can you expect from the employees.

A tiny place that has been there 20 years. I can't say enough good things about it. This was my first visit. I was looking for a new place to have my Sunday morning breakfast and I have found it.

Decent food, but they don't work the posted hours, so you get frustration, not tamales and gorditas.

Food was delicious. Got tamales to go for Christmas. Did not have to be put on list or wait. Always forget to call ahead of time so these were perfect!7

Amazing Piccadllo and breakfast burritos! Kind staff and great hours. I can’t wait to try the tamales!

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a convenient ramp in front of Hilda’s.

I had a dreadful experience at Hilda’s Mexican food where they served stale, old food that made me question their commitment to quality. The Horchata was bitter and my main dish, the menudo had no flavor and it seemed old.The bread also seemed like de-heated and old . Overall, dining there was a regrettable mistake, and I would advise seeking out a better Mexican restaurant for your culinary satisfaction.

First and last time I come here
When we arrived we ordered a menu and the lady serving said she hadn't heated it up yet, which made me think about how many days that Menu is, I said ok, nothing's wrong!!
We ordered a horchata water and when we tried it it tasted disgusting ? as if the water was several days old, I told the lady and she said that they had just made it that day, but seriously it tasted very bad, spoiled, slimy... Then our “menudo” and when I was eating them I got a wire in my Menudo, I told the lady and she just said oh, sorry, good thing to tell me to change the Menudo. So the Menudo was already several days old or I don't understand!??? Now I'm here with a stomach ache and running to the bathroom as soon as possible.
The truth is we are not special for food and we wanted to give this place a chance, but it is a NO for us.
If you don't want to have an unpleasant time and waste your money on old or stale food, which is already days old, better go somewhere else or cook at home.
