This is place is a hidden gem, for real! The many times we would pass it and not even thought of trying them out. But I am happy to say, we tried something new and we loved it. From our seafood boil, to clam chowder, to the gumbo and our kid’s chicken and shrimp baskets. It’s was all very satisfying ? our server had a cheerful attitude, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu and all. Excellent! Will definitely be coming back ☺️

I gave it a four due to them taking the gratuity out already without my knowledge even though I am the type to leave a generous amount. Next the waitress didn't come to serve drinks when needed. We had to flag her down several times. There wasn't that many people. I get it might have been under staffed hence the reason why I gave a good star reading. The food wasn't even what we ordered. And I didn't return it due to things I have experienced from returning food. But IT TASTED DELICIOUS EITHER WAY. ?Could have gotten a 5 star.

This is my husband and I’s favorite seafood restaurant in El Paso. We travel from las cruces whenever we are wanting some good seafood. This place is absolutely worth it! King crab is so delicious and worth the price! The sauces are also so yummy and Service is always great. Highly recommend ?
Food was excellent with large portions. I got fried flounder that apparently just came out of cooker and some had not been drained well. The sweet potatoes fries were fantastic.Really prompt and friendly service.
This was my first experience with Hook and Reel and Anaika, our waitress, made for a very welcoming experience. I ordered a basket of fried shrimp and clam chowder side which was brought still hot after a short wait. Excellent delicious food and service by all! Definitely will be a returning customer.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Hook & Reel. The shrimp basket was a delight – large, flavorful shrimp cooked to perfection. The Cajun fries complemented the dish perfectly and were excellent as well. The atmosphere was inviting, creating a pleasant dining experience. Our server, Lila, was incredibly friendly, adding a personal touch to the service. The entire staff was warm and welcoming, making it a memorable visit. Will definitely be making this a regular spot!!
