Yup! It’s been a minute since anything authentic hit my belly. And for sure! This is that place. Got a snapper with rice and peas. Callaloo and saltfish on the side. All of which was perfect! Not seasoned for the American tongue but truly seasoned the Jamaican way. And it’s great to see that we can buy likkle things from under the counter like soup packets and tin mackerel or even tin callaloo. We will be back! Thank you I-Land Vybz you’ve gained a dedicated hungry customer.

This restaurant is a little hard to spot from the road and parking is limited, but it is worth the visit. Service is friendly. Highly recommend the jerk chicken and goat curry. The rum cake is decadent and boozy. Don't be put off by the location, the food is all excellent.

Delicious food and not afraid to be spicy! Goat curry and jerk chicken were wonderful and the rum cake was great.

The food itself was pretty good, however we ordered a large oxtail with a large side of oxtail and this is what we got. In total it was 7 pieces of Oxtail. I’m pretty disappointed with the portions as I paid 40 dollars for this expecting something more.

long story short -- food was 4/5, service was 3/5, ambiance was 2/5 we ordered the jerk chicken with white rice and cabbage and i would say the chicken was juicy and tender! it was also pretty spicy which i really appreciated. the bowl comes in 2 sizes (medium and large) and this was the medium. it comes with 3 different chicken pieces which was actually pricier than i thought it would be. it was around $17 for this small bowl. i wanted to try their other side dishes but their menu DOESN'T HAVE PRICES ON IT!!! the service was okay but there just isn't that many people working there and is pretty slow at taking orders. the ambiance of the restaurant is also pretty depressing. lights feel like you're in a cafeteria, no music, and kinda dirty. next time i come here i would def just order my food take out!

The Food Here is absolutely wonderful ,Jamaican food prepared by real Jamaicans ?? with a twist of other Caribbean Flavors, I was amazed on how delicious the food was , For a Island restaurant in El paso their food even tasted better than some I had in places like New York and Florida.

There are no prices on the menu for the oxtail plate. I asked how many tails I di I and she replied that whatever fits on the 1 spoon and then they cut them so you can get more pieces. How bout just give 2 spoon fills so you don't have to cut into smaller pieces
