Steak tampiquena plate was a disappointment, paper thin steak i have had better elsewhere, should have stuck to the menudo, which is decent an plentiful tripe , bread is a bit small bu t gets the job done ,Salsa was decent & good jalapeno fresh with a kick 👍 menudo is usually worth the triple, big screen TV, to watch the events on , just need to ask , am from elp, so I don't worry about the less fortunate that might be a problem for some especially if not from el paso, outsider like usually don't know where they are from, this a menudo Palace, problem never been around one before, born, an raised here, love my hometown 😀

You can tell a lot about a restaurant based off the salsa and chips...salsa was watered down, food was not flavorful, service was lacking...first and last visit for me. Couple of vagrants hanging around the area didn't help the atmosphere.

I thought this place would be better but I was wrong, torta de bistek or more like lettuce torta with a very thin, bland, dried piece of meat for $7.99, $9.99 with fries. EXPENSIVE for what it is, not worthy!!! Next time I'll better go to Rainbow for a real good torta!!

This place has cockroaches all over the place, on the walls , floor and even on the table tops and seats. I was there once and saw those light brown small roaches on a lady's shoulder. The employees act like if its a normal thing with roaches hanging around which is not, its disgusting. Lucky's café just down the street is way better and food has better taste and no cockroaches seen there or crawling on the walls and tables or on you. Use to be a good place to eat but the prices and quality of food and the roaches just makes it a place not to go there again. The owners seem not to care about their cleanliness of their restaurant anymore.
Loved the feel to the place. Huevos rancheros were good it’s a very at home feel… calm, relaxed and welcoming

I love Jamie's Hut! I make sure to go every time I'm in El Paso. The pancakes here are better than IHOP. Yes, I know it's a Mexican restaurant but once I tried the pancakes I fell in love and I can't eat anything else here now, heehee. Come try them for yourself if you don't believe me 😉 as an added bonus, the people that work here are always super friendly too.
