I started going to Jersey Mike's when I lived in New Jersey and when I moved back to El Paso I surely missed their subs. Man O man when I found out they opened up Jersey Mike's here I was excited!!!! Delicious subs, great cuts of meat, delicious veggies smothered in oil covered in cheese on top of their buns. I'm drooling just writing this review. Your missing out if you haven't been.

This is the third time I've been to this location and had, or observed an issue. Two people ahead of us, they order. We then order. Another gentleman comes in and orders, then cuts in front of us and the other two people who were in front of us.
The one guy I think mentioned that there was a line to pay and the man who cut just mumbled something and pushed the guy out of the way. Staff stood there and just looked lost.
This happened as well about a month ago -- however I told the guy there was a line (I mean why were we standing there if there wasn't) He got a little mouthy with me, then realized it probably wasn't the best of ideas to continue on when he was wrong to begin with.
I hate the way Jersey Mike's is run. Slicing the meat when you order is cool and all, but it's annoying and just adds extra time, especially if you're ordering several sandwiches.
Not to mention the 100% cross contamination of cutting cheese then meat on the same slicer without wiping it down. I used to work in a deli and management was ridiculously strict about cleaning the slicer after cutting meat or cheese (we didn't cut 6-7 meats back to back). I'll have to ask my friend who works for the EP County Health Department, because it sure seems like some sort of health violation, but again what do I know?
I really like the food, but this location needs a super re-vamp. The one at the Fountains could use one too -- seems the staff are all just disinterested kids - the one on the west side used to be our go to location but all the construction on I-10 makes it not worth it.
Anyhow seems the establishment doesn't follow up or respond to reviews on here, maybe something they should reconsider. Connecting with customers is KEY.

If there is a large online order being made before your order, leave. It makes no sense to prioritize online orders instead of walk-in orders.

Love the sandwiches here, fresh and delicious. But the reason why I wanted to leave a review was the service. Jaden (hope I'm spelling it right) was awesome. Good customer service is hard to come by and he was great. Breath of fresh air to get good service by a young kid. Great at his job. Shout out to him.

I’ve had a rough week and today was just the cherry on top. But the gentlemen at this store were all very kind and helped make my day a little better. Instead of it being a quick and easy dinner to end a horrible week, they helped make it a happy moment and a start to a better weekend. Thank you Maurice, Ty and Richard!

Went by for a sub not too long ago and the experience was a bit more odd compared to other times. I was greeted nicely by the workers but was told to wait about five minutes before they can help me. In the middle of it one of the workers was just standing there waiting for what I think was the shift manager to comeback. I had to assume the worker was a new hire shadowing the other. Finally the worker comes back and begins to prepare my order and I don’t know if its just me but the guy doesn’t ask what kind of bread I like and immediately begins working on the cuts for the sandwich on plain bread. Then he asks how my day is going, but starts asking personal questions like “where do you work?” “How much are you getting paid?” “Are you guys hiring?” Obviously my pay is none of his business, granted everywhere you look people are bound to be working a bare minimum job with low pay so why worsen the mood with these unpleasant questions? If the guy is that desperate to get a good pay job, just leave, don’t ask me if my job is hiring! Anyway, the guy hands the sandwich off to the assumed new hire and the guy is picking vegetables in the smallest portion possible! Like, the onions are already cut small and hes grabbing each ring of cut onion one by one. After he finishes that, i get to the checkout and the guy who was talking to me previously comes off as a guy trying to rush the transaction. Heck, if tipping towards a specific person were possible, I would have given it to the guy putting the greens to my sandwich. Overall, odd and bizarre experience
