The guy has a terrible attitude. Never opens the door and couldn’t hear what he was saying. Food was ok but not for the price. Definitely not coming back. Avocado was bad on my sandwich, and for the tacos you only get salsa for like one taco.

I've been coming here for a year to buy tacos and tortas for my family and I. It really is Juarez style delicious! Yes you never see the guy but what does that matter? You just order, he wears his gloves, does the cooking, gives you everything nicely wrapped and a soda and voilà, the food is really delicious. Don't listen to the vague reviews here.

I was looking for something small before heading home for the night, found this little food truck and decided to give it a try. To start, the food truck seemed like it needed a couple renovations, perhaps a fresh layer of paint, letters were fading and old looking, the prices were pretty high in my opinion, 11 dollars for the order of 5 tacos, 9 for a burger, I mean when you go to these small places you’re expecting at least something cheaper than at a restaurant, I say this because these owners don’t have to worry about paying for a whole restaurant’s needs. Anyways I ordered, the man never made eye contact with me, felt like he was doing me a favor much more than he being polite and offer me or guide me through the options, I ordered, asked the ingredients and he rushed as if there was a line of people behind me waiting to order, (I was, in fact, the only one there) he later tells me, I’ll yell when your order is ready, I go sit by my car and wait, it took him about 8 minutes to get everything out, again the plates looked rushed, cheese everywhere in my order, condiments looked like they were scooped and thrown into my hot dog, and all I could see of the guy was his hands, they looked dirty, I could see how he hadn’t washed them in a while. Lastly the taste, the nacho cheese had a very strange flavor, the bun was a steamed mess, everything lacked flavor, I was surprisingly disappointed, specially because I wasn’t expecting much, will never come back, and will advise people to stay away from this place.

Dirty restaurant, crappy service and the food was terrible. Had the Chicken Parmigiana, and I am pretty sure it was frozen. I will never eat here again.
The place was packed. It took about 45 minutes to get our main entre but it was worth the wait! The bread was freshly made... soft, buttery, garlic. I had angel hair pasta with alfredo and shrimp. I could tell the alfredo sauce was made with fresh cream. My wife had the spaghetti and the sauce was delicious! We'll be back for sure!

We are long term customers. Although the place looks cleaner since new management took over, the last time we went there for a quiet meal and conversation we were subjected to a noisy, scratchy radio program emitting from an ancient looking speaker box. The sound was highly irritating. We requested the radio be turned off, the manager refused. We cancelled the remaining order, paid our bill and left. Other restaurants aim to please, The Italian Kitchen does not.

Visiting there for years since army days. Never had a problem until Thursday. Waitress got upset because I wouldn't sit in a corner table. Wanted to save my table for large gatherings. Five people in there. She pawned me off on the other waitress after briefing her.... Brought salid and spaghetti same time so meal would get cold while I ate the slid. Spiteful and very unprofessional. Meal was very bland. Pasta was undercooked. Meatball was unseasoned. Burnt hard toast. The tea was the only redeaming part of the meal. No tip ..... Scrappy service... AFTER ALL THESE YEARS ... NEVER AGAIN

Went to dinner the staff was very friendly and service was decent. The dish I had was Chicken Parmigiana, the chicken was dry and the sauce was tasteless. It appeared it had been warmed up in the microwave and brought out to serve. We won’t be back.

I like Italian food and especially Veal Parmesan. My wife and I had previously visited the Italian Kitchen West which is affiliated with this Pershing Dr. location but had never eaten here until today. Since I had previously experienced some displeasure after ordering Veal Parmesan at other Italian restaurants, I took the caution of asking our server if the Veal Parmesan on the menu was genuine veal. She advised me that, "No, but we use a lean cut of sirloin and it's really good". Willing to take the chance, I ordered it. it didn't take long at all for our salads to appear but they consisted of one small wedge of tomato, a slice of cucumber and some head lettuce. The "house" dressing was some combination of oil and vinegar but virtually tasteless. My wife was satisfied with the child's plate of spaghetti and I eagerly cut into the "tender sirloin". It was far from tender and I had no desire to finish it. The spaghetti was cooked to my preference of al dente and the sauce was passable but unexceptional. Our disappointment was compounded by the appearance of a soiled candle holder that had spots of food detritus spatters. My overall impression was that this establishment could use better supervision. They can do better.
