This place served some of the worst food I have ever had. The sushi was doused in oil! It was so much to the point that the roll was dripping oil, and the bottom of the container was puddled with oil. The teppanyaki was literally all noodle and absolutely no meat/protein. There were 2 pieces of beef, 1 piece of chicken, and 0 shrimp!

We just ordered some sushi from this place and I am extremely disappointed. We received a roll with lobster that had gone bad. The stench nearly made us throw up. ? Thinking we were exaggerating, my husband tried a piece and ended up actually throwing up. I called the restaurant to request a refund and was told to go through the Uber app. No empathy, no accountability, nothing. This is a huge safety concern as who knows what other expired food they might be serving. On top of that, the roll wasn’t even made as described. It was supposed to have shrimp and avocado and it had non of that. I wish they would have just called me and told me they didn’t have the ingredients for the order instead of ruining our dinner plans. Never having food from this place again.

I have ordered from this restaurant about 8 times now. Everytime the food is fresh and the sushi had good flavor. I love the protein bowel with salad. Great low carb option. They have never messed up on my order. Ide say pretty good sushi for El Paso, one of our main places to go.

From the hospitable service to the great food that’s extremely affordable to the ambience, Kaizen Sushi is definitely our new sushi restaurant for us to eat and to take others for the experience. The portions of food will definitely leave you filled up. From our server was (exceptionally on point) to Beto (who is a great guy!!!) To the Sushi Chef, this place is on point!!! Order combination fried rice, and it was HORRENDOUS! The rice was mushy, had ZERO flavor, had seriously ONE whole shrimp and 3 tiny, tiny pieces of beef, and a couple miniature pieces of chicken!!!!! I complained and was willing to take it back and get my money back, but the owner wouldn't budge, he offered me another rice!!!
