Tranzas, very high prices for their terrible service and food.I WILL NOT COME TO THIS PLACE AGAIN.I have known this katsura for many years and it is noticeable how over time it has lost quality, both in the service and in the food, first they served me still mineral water, then I ordered some edamame that seems to have been sold to me one at a time, They gave me a small plate of edamame and when I asked the waiter he told me that because the owners were cutting the plates to save money,But how do they not cut the prices too?Because when asking for an Udon Soup that by the way lost a lot of quality, the waitress told me that a dish would cost about $38 dollars just to put meat, chicken and shrimp in it.I really liked the food at this place and it was always one of my family's favorite restaurants, but it seems that the owners lost interest, poorly trained waiters, no information about any dish and disabilities in customer service. With owners who think only of their benefit, I see why this is full of bad reviews, exaggerated prices for the service they provide.I won't come again.

Katsura Team, what can I say. I LOVE this place! Hoping and praying this doesn't turn into a LOVED this place. The Menu needs to be revised and practiced with Head Sushi Chef. I've been coming here for many years and eat multiple times a Month. Unfortunately, with today's service this will definitely keep me away for quite some time. New staff, is understandable which is part of every restaurant hiring new staff. Get the Menu right at least, ordered a Norwegian and Caballero Roll (something I ALWAYS order). Staff stated this was correct as it stated on the specifications of ingredients in the menu. This means they lack Proper Training!!!! Management, please from the bottom of my heart from a point of view of a Katsura lover. Get it right, or most people will be soon to be gone forever.

This place is terrible. I made a mistake giving it a chance. Live and learn. Just go down the street to Albertsons and get some sushi there. You will save lots and lots of money. This restaurant is an embarrassment to El Paso. I am sorry to say.1. Rap music playing inside a sushi restaurant. Seriously? Have some respect. Get rid of the samurai armor if you don’t want a Japanese atmosphere.2. They don’t have a real menu, you have to scan a bar code and use your phone to view it online. It’s not a COVID thing because they give you physical menus for the drinks, but no prices, no pictures and someone made it on Microsoft word. Just black and white.3. No Wi-Fi. They want you to use internet to see the menu, but don’t offer internet. They tease you with the Katsura Wi-Fi name there, but nope.4. My nigiri ? was bad. So thin it was almost see through. The salmon had skin…I don’t even know what to say.5. Ordered a sushi roll, I didn’t know barbecue sauce was even a thing with sushi. It didn’t mix well with the cream cheese inside. ?5a. The ginger was thicker than the sushi, which made the ginger terrible overall.6. No free refills or waitress never offered us any. I think the lemon aid said no free refills .7. $3 for using your credit card. No matter the price. $3 dollars.8. We spent $70 for the worst lunch experience. Ambience was terrible. Maybe grass on one wall…it was weird. Not Japanese at all. Or maybe not even trying.Of note, the waitress is nice. It’s not her fault the place is the way it is.Just go get some Albertsons sushi, it is way better and you u can watch something fun with your family. Honestly.

Such a beautiful atmosphere, server so nice, but the food was so bland it tasted boiled, by far the worse food I've tasted in El Paso, I pray they get a better chef, octopus was so rubbery, calamari tasted like it was microwaved, dumplings tasted like the ones I buy at Costco, ramen, is like the one that comes in a package, spicy mayo tasted just like mayo, I asked for Sriracha to add to the spicy mayo, sushi rolls by far no flavor, not even the sauces helped, and we paid almost 80 dollars, very sad and dissatisfied!

Waited 30 minutes for two orders of ramen. It was a ridiculous wait time. On top of that the food was bland and the hard boiled eggs were disgusting. We were charged $3.50 for 4 dumplings, but when we ordered another 8, the price jumped up to $12? How does that make sense. The server Abigail was nice and professional although she did not apologize once for the delay in our food. To add insult to injury on this dining experience, they charged a card fee of $3 on a DEBIT CARD.

My experience here was one of the worst i’ve had in a long time the waiter took forever to bring our drinks then after waiting 30 min asked if we needed anything else wihout ever taking us our food not only that but once he went to the kitchen and told em our food was missing he said it had to be to go and put in a box since the diner was closing

Our waitress was Alexis N. Literally sat down at our table and wasn’t in the best of moods. Alexis took great care of us and turned all of our moods around. She was so nice, positive and always smiling. Thank you for taking care of us Alexis.

There was literally more employees sitting around than employees working, long wait times for below average food! I had gotten two rolls, the golden Cali was fine at best but the Philly roll tasted funky and my girlfriend found a hair in the spicy Mayo! Miso soup is just salted water, with one piece of miso! I've been here three times overall thinking that they'll redeem themselves! But it's just not worth it to pricey for not very good food.
