At the time, I was down bad. I mean real bad. I had just lost my job, got dumped via group text, and my dog literally sighed when I walked into the room. I hadn’t smiled since the McRib came back. I wandered into Kee’s like a raccoon in search of spiritual scraps.
They sat me near the window, probably so I could reflect on my poor life choices in natural lighting.
I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken, mostly because it was the only thing I could pronounce confidently. One bite in and BAM—hope. That sauce? It tasted like ambition. Like maybe I will go back to school.
Then came the spicy tuna roll, and suddenly I remembered what it felt like to be alive. I caught my reflection in the soy sauce and whispered, “You still got it, champ.”
The staff was so friendly I almost asked them if they were hiring—not even joking. One of them told me to “have a blessed day,” and I almost cried into my wasabi.
Kee’s didn’t just feed me. They rebooted me. Now I eat there once a week—doctor’s orders. Okay, not my doctor, but still.

Although it may not look pleasing, the food is wonderful, especially the service. The sushi I bought, which was the Philadelphia roll, was absolutely delicious. One of El Paso's hidden gems for sure. Even if it was pricy, it is a 10/10 reccomend as they serve fresh nutritious food.
Best hidden gem on the east side, exceptional service and Veronica was extremely polite and helpful with food items and recommendations.. my wife and I are absolutely astonished about this place.. 10/10 highly recommended and the food was exquisite!
