Koze is a clean, well kept Japanese grill. The food was fresh and plentiful. The service was prompt and courteous and our grand kids had a blast watching the chef work his culinary magic. My grand daughter told me she would like him to prepare her dinner every night. Come to think of it, so would I.

The food is exceptional and the atmosphere feels effortlessly refined. Their lunch specials are a standout, and the drink offerings are crafted with real care. One of the premier dining experiences on the east side of El Paso — absolutely worth a visit.

Came to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Mike was our chef and made the experience special for her and our family. Thanks so much for the service and the show!
I definitely suggest asking for Mike if you come here!!

Terrible service, will not be returning. Oily floors = death trap
Floors are COVERED in oil. This place is a giant slip n' slide. Don't come here unless you feel like slipping and sliding!!!
The floors were covered in a very slippery substance. It was as if they mopped the floors with oil! I almost slipped multiple times just walking to the table.
We also were charged a $40 gratuity fee AND we were asked to tip more!
And the cherry on to is that our waitress, Naomi with pink hair, wasn't friendly at all.

This place is not all that it is cracked up to be. To start off i ordered sushi. Either the server forgot it until I mentioned it or it took 15minutes to prepare. Following that the chef did only 1 trick and that was to toss the egg in his hat. The rest of the time he cooked like a normal person. He didn't even do the big fire at the beginning. Then he only served half the table yum yum sauce until he was asked for some. Then when the bill came the included 20% gratuity for a party of 5. I understand that may be a big party but 20% is ridiculous. Especially for lack luster aervice/performance. Will not be eating there again. And to top it all off the floors were very slippery so if you have balance issues or trouble walking be extra careful.

I was added a 20% gratuity on TAKE OUT. This makes NO sense and I think is no fair. Very disappointing.

Food was delicious. Service could've been a lot better especially since it was a Sunday afternoon and the place was pretty empty. Also be aware that a 18% gratuity will be added to parties of 4 or more.

My family and I (party of 5) went to dinner last night and we sat in the regular dining area, not the hibachi experience. It wasn't a super busy night but our drinks were on empty twice and the server was slow. I fully understand that this is not a cheap restaurant but it's also not fine dining either so suffice to say I was prepared to pay higher than a McDonald's price range dinner for 5. I was not however expecting a $41 gratuity to be added into our bill automatically. We inquired why it was added automatically and they said it's standard for parties over 4. This is a MID establishment and at most I would have tipped our server $20 not a penny more. I always tip service staff and I'm not stingy but this just left me with the ICK.

Koze is one of my favorite restaurants in the East side. Their sushis and their fried rice are 5 stars! It has a tons of flavor.. Its sooo good as well as their drinks 🍷. I tried the green tea crème brûlée, it was a 3/5 but it was good too. Great service always as well.
We visited for our 5th wedding aniversary. Such a gem! Our server was amazing, the food, drinks and dessert were to die for and the atmosphere was just wgat we needed to celebrate our milestone. Go visit them!

We had a really good time. I remember years ago when there was a restaurant called Shogun on the Westside. They did this type of thing also. The food, service and entertainment was great.
