On 04/17 I took an elderly person to this restaurant as per there request. We arrived exactly 11:50am-12:46pm the hostess/mgmt, (she was short) asked we wrap it up, they needed the table immediately. At least the server was nice, kind enough to put the chicken caldo in To-Go cups for the elderly person. Someone reserved the table. We were never told before we took the table. Worse, the restaurant was empty during lunch. Caldo de Res & Chicken caldo was ordered. Look it up

I walked in with a party of twelve on a lively night. Despite it being near closing time, the hospitality was outstanding. Endless chips, ordering recommendations, drink refills at the right times — on top of everything, all the food was delicious and at a great price.Great find!

A 25-minute wait on a Saturday evening, but well worth it. The portions are huge so if you get appetizers it might be best to split entrees. Friendly servers.

I was here once before with some friends in 2019, but couldn’t remember where it was or what it was called. My Boss and I came here for lunch and I remembered being here. The food was good in 2019 and it was excellent in 2024! I had the Mexican Combination Plate. The only thing that remained was the little bowl the meat and potatoes came in. If you leave and you’re not stuff or satisfied, you did something wrong. Tried the coffee with cinnamon. I’m going to say that it wasn’t bad but I’ll stick with black coffee. The exterior looks small but don’t let that fool you. Parking is a challenge, if you wish to park within 300m… plan accordingly. Would/will definitely return and try something else.Parking: Plan accordingly. You might get lucky, you might have to walk a little.

I don't know why we waited so long to try this place! Everything about it is amazing, don't let the location fool you. It looks small from the outside, but it is a big restaurant. Service is great, food is delicious & pleasant ambiance. For starters, the chips and green salsa are delicious. We ordered green chicken & red enchiladas, chicken tampiqueña & caldo de res, everything was superb. Customer service was great. Waiting was reasonable, that's what we call "worth the wait."Parking: There's not much parking, don't mind the walk though.

I have been here a few times and most recently with a group of over 20 people. The server for everyone's orders, perfectly! I have never been to a restaurant with a large group and not had at least one plate sent back. They have a variety of vegetarian options available, just ask for the menu!!!

I would had expected more on 6 dollar burritos but was disappointed ? the crispy tacos are still bomb

I’ve NEVER left this spot hungry. The carne asada tacos are my go to- add a little green salsa to the top and it’s a win. The burrito plates are really good too! The place is always busy but the service is as if you’re the only guest in the house. I love the atmosphere, kind of a dive style bar and home/local restaurant…Parking: Parking situation is terrible, but the food and service more than makes up for it!

Sooooo full. This was excellent on all levels. Even the complimentary salsa and chips you get was way better than most. Queso outstanding. Mole enchiladas fantastic. Quick attentive service...he even have us extra chips and salsa to take. Great value and I can see why its been in business for so long.

We came here based on Google reviews and local recommendations. They have red and green salsa and chips for free like most Mexican restaurants. I think the green was better than the red, but that's my opinion, and not anything amazing by my standards (not spicy either, and I asked for spicier salsa. They dont carry any.). My husband and I both got the Mexican combination plates. We were pretty disappointed overall. The chili relleno was okay, and the red enchilada wasn't bad but nothing to write home about. What was truly disappointing was the green chili con carne, and the beef chunks were really tough and chewy and had a freezer burnt taste. I did not try the taco because I forgot to ask for it without lettuce, but it's ground beef....flauta was similar to freezer type ones. The green chili cheese dip was pretty good, but you don't get very much for what you pay. I know cheese is expensive, but I think it wasn't amazing enough to ever come back for it. The service was good but nothing above standard expectations.
